Rally good game ! The game play is very nice but the game is a bit too easy... Anyways, the music (even if it is not an original music made especially for the jam) and the art style are both very good, you made a great work ! (°u°)9

Loved the simple controls. Also, the sword throw attack and boss fight were amazing. Great game!

The music really surprised me and made me smile while playing! Such a smooth game i was really impressed! A good level of difficulty too, i managed to kill the boss but it was so much fun, great job! I hope i see more games with the music style because i loved it!!

HAHA, what a twisted interpretation of the theme! This game was extremely fun! The character feels so fluid and nice to controls. The combat is just so satisfying. All the little things, from the sword switching sides, the sword sound effects, and the enemy knockback, made it really fun to play (I can't emphasis this enough). I had so much fun ping ponging the eyeball in the third level, it was so much fun! All the options the players have feel so solid! The character dodge feels nice and the sword boomerang move is just really good! I gotta say that I am impressed that despite all the character using their one respective sprite, the everything feels so animated! Just the way you did your tweening made everything seem so expressive, which is amazing! The art compliments don't stop there though, everything from the slime projectiles, eyeball trails, dark mage magic balls, and even just the base sprite themselves are just really well done! I also thought that the metal song actually added to the experience and I quite like it (coming from someone who doesn't listen to metal at all)! Also the game was funny, seeing the reactions of the old dudes after getting to the end level was priceless (the expressionless player character really adds to the comedy of that)! Overall, nothing short of amazing! I really hope you continue this one! Great job!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :) Yeah, I had a lot of fun implementing the old guy's reactions. Their reactions to being sacrificed was actually the deciding factor when I decided how I wanted to do the theme. By the end I ran out of time, so the theme became a bit of an after thought, but I still wanted to implement the comedic elements that I had envisioned when I had the initial idea. :)

That was really fun ! simple but super enjoyable game.

The music is kinda odd for a dungeon game, but im totally on it ! :D

I wasnt sure at the end if that really was the end, so i waited a bit to see if there is more.

great game love ! this needs more content.

Ah, that's understandable. I'll be sure to include a "The End" at the end to make it clear, thank you. :)

This is definitely one of the best games I've played so far from the jam. The combat and enemies and their abilities all feel really good. While the character and the friends do not have the most animations the gameplay, all the levels, and the final boss all felt good. Great game! If possible could you also check out my game and rate it if not done already. Thanks!

Love the mechanics and soundtrack!  Was fun to play and funny you had to make a sacrifice to open the portal...nice touch.
