Nice game :) I gave you 5 stars in the polish category not only because the game was well polished but because it was, well, polish.

I love pierogies! My best score was 115! As mentioned by other players, the game is quite intense later on. I really liked the references to Polish culture - pierogies (dumplings) and the look of the main character. Also, a good idea would be to have obstacles somehow look more Polish - books by Polish artists, molecules (the reference to Maria Skłodowska Curie). The game in my opinion is lacking the reference to the theme, although mentioned before culture references definitely fills the gap!

Review:

- Gameplay: I'd say that the gameplay is quite intense, with obstacles requiring good reaction times.

- Theme/Topic: The game does fit into the theme quite well and I like how you represented your culture but it has not much resemblance to the topic. I do see the "you don't die" feature after the character dies once but it doesn't really seem to change the gameplay much.

- Innovation: The game does feature some nice gameplay but I've seen many games of the same kind. So, There is definitely place for improvement in innovation here.

- Graphics: The graphics are pretty good, I really like the simple artstyle as it matches with the style of the game.

- Music/Sfx: I would say there is some space for improvement in music, I think that the game deserves a way more intense polish music than the calm one since it doesn't really fit with the gameplay.

- PolishThe polishing is pretty well done (no pun intended). I like the start menu screen + the "your culture jam" splash which makes it look good. I like the transition after clicking the play button and the little animations that play with crashing yourself on the wall.

TL;DR: Good game but there is space for improvement

also I got 72 points at max :)

Hey! I played the game and first thing that got my attention was the music. it was so soothing and matched the art-style so well. And opposite of ManameisJeffie, I very much liked the theme-changing idea :D  great job! And my best record was 2860

Here are in depth info of my votings:

!!I'm voting based on the jam scale, so I may come back and forth and teak some votes ( only to increase tho )!!

+ Gameplay: it couldn't keep me playing for long; I can't say I really liked the gameplay idea so much unfortunately. but I sure can say it was fun while it lasted :D
I'll try it again to beat my best record after I played other games in the jam, and then maybe I changed my mind!

+ Theme/Topic: ummm, When dealing with "Culture", I think it's expected to see some cultural assets that are related to gameplay, rather than using them only for the art-style. I failed at that too ( failed much worse to be exact ). If I had a 2nd chance I'd put the cultural focus more on the gameplay rather than just art

Innovation: The idea wasn't very new, you know. the theme changing was exceptional tho, it seemed new to me and I really liked it :D

Graphics: Oh the graphics were polished for sure! but then since we also have a voting for polish separately, I'm voting the graphics based on the level of quality, without polishing in mind...
So, the graphics and the sfx/music matched very well and in my opinion that's the strongest point for this game. well done my friend! tho to be honest I think the graphics lacked a lot of particles ... I'm giving 3 stars, which is only 2 stars short and that's only because of the lack of visual effects. the 3 full stars are for the art , which was great. I'd definitely add some visual effects. but again, I may change my mind after I played other games, because if none focused on visual effects then you'll get 5 stars for graphics from me

Music/SFX: Just let me say that I was a freelancing music composer and as a composer I loved how much your music teamed up with your art assets to fulfill the theming! I'd give it 10 stars if it was possible.
Oh and you can find my musics at.... joking :p

Polish: the game was very well polished! you did a great job at that, and that's the second string point of this game in my opinion

this is pretty good, the gameplay is fun, but the idea isn't original in fact i've seen this type of game in a lot of mobile games, but the way that the power ups are used is pretty good, & changing the art style midproject isn't really a good thing, cuz the game will feel not well made not respecting a theme it will look kinda random & that's exactly what happening here, i would suggest you change it later if u can other than that ur game is good enough, continue working on it, u can always make it better

I actually think the game is very well made in terms of art style.

the background is great, and the fact that the walls and character stand out makes it much easier to focus and concentrate when this game is very much about reflexes.

it also starts slow and gets a paced running, so its fine for it. it does things better than most mobile games.
