quitting cuz i can't make my own assets.

1.) you  have a character that moves thru a maze and has to get to finish in 30sec.

2.) you get a pixel art image and you have to replicate it in a paint-like app in 30sec

3.) an low-poly 3D first person platformer where each level has a diffrent theme and feel.

3.) you are a hacker and you are hired by pepole to hack into websites and other hackable things. but the thing is you have to use real python code to hack (you have 30 seconds to hack into the site or you are arrested by police and have to start from level1) when you use hints the tim reduces.

4.) you are person in a store that became invisible for 30seconds and you need to steal as much stuff as possble to gain money and with money you can buy time upgrades like slow down time and others.

5.) you are given several computer part and you have to assemble a computer in 30seconds to earn money. with money you can buy better computer parts and get more money.

That's it bye ;)

awe man u shouldn't give up. :C just do simple assests! use MagicaVoxel https://ephtracy.github.io/  its super easy to pick up. and its free!!! really give it a look. you can totally learn how to use it well in about an hour!! hang in there!!

Beginner here, thinking about joining but I can't make my own assets either... This link is just great. Thank you so much. Any other cool tools for 2D assets?

not that i know of sorry (atleast not free ones) i work in 3d and have never done 2d games before >.< if u like the idea of making 2d games though you should check out game engine Clickteam Fusion. its pretty intuitive and fun to work with

Cool! Thanks again!

Hey man if you're looking for a tool for 2d pixel art http://www.piskelapp.com/ is a great tool that even works in browser. I wouldn't consider myself anything of an artist but this program has served me well through years of projects!

ho ho :) man this is slick thanks for the neat tool (ik it was meant for weed but hah! i takes it!)

No problem brother!

Wow that's a great app.  And just amazing that it's so good on browser. Thanks!

Weed, there are 19 days until you can submit your game! That is a lot of time to make a game!

You don't have to make something extraordinary, something simple is enough! You can use only simple shapes and make some simple scripts.

heck yeah man u got this. for sure! thats the whole point of these things! to go outside of your comfort zone and get better at the craft!

there are tutorials that may take 2 hours for character creation , and as started above you can always use protoceratops shapes or magicalvoxel . Just spend the a week or so on that and the last 13 days on programming and polishing your game .
