Good job! Two things to improve:
1) add soundtrack (even a simple one) - this makes games so much better
2) improve ending screen - you already have the death animations and everything, just do a simple fade to black screen and display a score there.
I really liked the animations, very nice looking. The combat was well executed. I came up with an interesting strategy of defeating the bats while fighting the knights so I would have enough ammo to defeat them without having to run away. I would love to see this game expanded with some cool areas to explore! Well done.

Very cool! The pixel art is very nice. The enemy spawns took a little to long at the start I think. I thought it was bugged for a sec as I wondered around. It was fun to play and that is what counts!
