I'm not the host of the jam, but I'd say yeah, it's totally okay if you're a beginner :3 a game/story jam is a great opportunity to show off and develop your skills. What matters most is having fun ^v^/

beginners are very welcome as long as what you submit is a complete work or a complete demo :)
