What a good game! I have yet to finish it (I have issues with heart pain that require me to pace myself in more emotional titles) but I've gotten pretty far in and wow, it's amazing! The minigames are well thought-out and fun, the story is engaging and has so many twists and turns, the characters are all believably written and engaging, and the art is simply stunning! The last part might actually be my favorite aspect of the game-- everything is gorgeous and the CGs are so, so stunning.
This game has been on my backlog for some time and I'm glad I've finally taken the time to play it! Thank you for making this 💖

Very cute! Loved the atmosphere and the character designs. The writing also got a laugh or two out of me. I was going to name the character 'Spooky Meow Meow' after the CG, but it was too long, so I resorted to 'Spooky Meow'. Overall a very adorable and charming game, I very much enjoyed the time I had with it.
And yes, I did indeed get the 'meow at the cat' CG 😌
I forgot to rate this before, but I really love this game! The dialogue is witty, what we do get of the characters and their relationships with each other feel fleshed-out-- it's a good time! Love the art, and the little details like the cat frowning when Yarrow is upset. This being a jam project makes the game even more impressive. Thanks to the dev, and everyone else who contributed to the game, for sharing this with us!
The game is just as lovely as I anticipated! The illustrations are all so lively, and the amount of poses Iggy has in his room is honestly astounding. It's super impressive how much you've been able to get done for this game and I've loved seeing the updates posted for it. Each of the characters shine brightly of personality and charm-- it's akin to venturing into the light fixtures section of a hardware store.
(Unrelated to my main thoughts on the game though, I love the vernacular used, I haven't seen some of the vocabulary exercised here in quite a while haha.)
Very exciting as always and I'm glad this project has been helping reignite some of that creative spark! Also relatable, I've been working on my main project for... three-ish years now (oh gosh the time) and after doing the same thing for so long, I can attest that stepping away to do something else/taking a break from the project definitely helps. Best of luck Carrot and I'm sure the game will be great!
(Also with each new preview I'm just amazed, the game looks very cute and fun)
After being told this game would be up my alley I decided to check it out first thing and wow, this game delivers! It combines some of my favorite aspects I've seen across VNs into one lovely package. I love the type of fragmented storytelling where you can choose what to look into first and it does a great job of dividing the game's content.
The multimedia aspect is great, and everything inside the game is so vivid, in no small part due to that. I am a massive fan of science fiction and this story weaves the futuristic elements of it in with a painfully human story.
The art is FANTASTIC and hits all the beats it needs to-- and the animations give it that extra oomph. And while small, I do love how the desk space changes as the days go on. Really makes the space feel tangible and lived-in.
The voice acting comes in at all the right moments and the performances are stellar. Every emotional beat they hit feels perfect to the scene.
And I can't think of a single line here that doesn't contribute something to the story, characters, setting and/or atmosphere-- the writing is superb.
Music here hits all the right notes and while I'm not a music guy I can definitely appreciate it! They work great establishing the mood of the scene.
Thank you Mado for the recommendation, and thank you to everyone on the team for this game! You all did fantastic. I will definitely have to check out malViolence in the future :)
AAAAAAAA Thank you so much Carrot!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it this much ;v; I really gave it my all with this game and it means a lot that it came across. I'm so glad you liked all of them too-- I worry a lot about making sure people like each of the little guys.
And I am really glad the glitch moments worked the way I wanted to too-- I had a lot more planned, but I implemented them down to the deadline so when some of them just refused to work the way I wanted them to I had to toss 'em out.
And thank you especially about the end cutscene; I went through like??? seven different tracks??? before landing on the one I ultimately did. It required a lot of adjusting the timing of the scene and moving things around but it's the culmination of everything so I had to make sure it was tip-top. I originally had alternate endings planned after the cutscene depending on who you spent time with (or chose if you spent time with multiple) but just didn't have time nearing the end. There *is* a version of the main menu I drew up that has all the drawings after reaching an ending (Mint's ending represented by a doll, Akira's by a butterfly, Rei's by a written apology and Justice's by the bee's reflection in the TV) which is all that's really left of the original plans.
Anyways yeah!!! thank you so so much for your kind words ✨
