this seems a really cool engine! Can't wait for more content!
This seems like a great start.
Th marking mechanic is neat, and makes it feel like a slightly more freeform take on Papers Please's style of interaction.
I enjoyed what I played so far, but I couldn't find any interactions to do after the first marking puzzle. If that's all there is, then that's fine - that's how game jams go sometimes. If I've overlooked something, let me know, because I'd love to play more!
That’s all there was, sorry! I had time at the end that I could have used to add content, but I found I just wanted to keep working on the UI library behind it. At some point I’ll probably come back to this though.
That's valid! Best of luck :)
I like the writing so far. And the interaction is interesting. Do visual novels have sound effects? I've not played any as far as I recall. But a few here and there, maybe would help.
If you get a chance, please try my game. I wrote some dialog. Maybe you'd have some constructive criticism on it! Thanks!
Cool interface, is there nothing to do yet after marking rent or did I miss something?
That was it! I found I wanted to keep working on the UI library instead of adding content to the game, so that’s what I did instead of getting it finished.
