This was so fun!! The mechanic where every bullet could either save you or kill you was fantastic; there's definitely some meta possibilities by creating bullet barriers and other fun stuff like that! The music was tasteful, the core concept was solid, and the game was quite challenging! Great work!

I like the simplicity. Feels nostalgic for me, since I played a lot of these triangle-shaped spaceship asteroid-like games, back in the day. I can only imagine myself forking this game someday =)

Took a while to get used to the ccontrols and the mind warping warping, but after that it was a blast!

Couldn't get it to quit properly; had to kill -9 as regular kill had no effect.

Developer

Does it report anything into terminal when you try to close the window? I heard about this problem, but cannot reproduce it on my setup.

Now this feels like a full mini game.
Everything is here
A consistent scoring mechanism
A way to die
A clear objective
Great job. Enjoyed it. (The controls were probably my worse enemy :P )

Very nice to have sound. Also great that you kept track of how I got killed. Might be nice if you offered more than one life -- just as I'm getting into it, I'm dead and I have to navigate the title screen to play again.

Also might be nice to offer WASD keyboard controls -- current layout is a bit spread out, although it does give the feeling of trying to deal with with the controls on old-time Defender.

I the music and visuals really complement each-other to give a great 'muted' atmosphere.

The controls are.. very oddly placed.

I really like the idea of the shots wrapping-around as they do, since it's both an aid and a danger as you play more. I think the idea would work well with more options to actively evade/defend yourself.

It looks and sounds really good, but the controls are just too tricky.
