I must say I'm impressed. It's a nice game considering how much time we had. Unfortunately there are a few issues:
- It was a little bit hard to play because of the high mouse sensitivity.
- No audio. I'm not sure if it's a bug or there's just no audio implemented.
- Crawling works (l.ctrl), but there's no indication it's activated. Camera perspective does not change.
- It would be nice to have a counter to know how many boxes were collected.
On the plus side I liked that the robots glow in the dark. It makes it easier to spot them.
Thanks a lot for the feedback!
All things you've mentioned came across while development, but sadly there was not enough time for me to implement them.
Currently I'm planning on updating the game focusing all of those issues and if you have any other issues / suggestions - please feel free to mention them!
I feel really sorry for not actually being able to play the game and provide feedback. The mouse sensitivity was just way too high. Even with my mouse dpi at the lowest it was still too hard to control. I would barely move my mouse at all and the camera would fling too much.
that's my bad of course, it will be fixed in the next update!
Anyway thanks for trying it out!
Without people like you, I would never assume it's too high
Good job for making a 3D game in such a short amount of time! This game seemed to be very ambitious and I appreciate the work and effort that seemed to be put into this. However, the camera felt very twitchy which made it hard to understand what was happening in the game. The camera would often fling towards the ground forcing me to reorient my mouse in order to see my surroundings. I was unfortunately unable to progress through most of this game as a result of the camera perspective. However, I was still interested and very much wanted to explore this intriguing environment while avoiding deadly robots.
Thanks for the feedback!
Will a slider for the mouse sensitivity fix this issue?
I don't have that much knowledge when it comes to things like that but, I think that it might help the game. I'm not 100% sure if the sensitivity was so how so it kept on flinging around or if for some other reason the camera kept going downwards. It still looks really amazing for a game made in 5 days though, good job.
Hmmm, this sure sounds strange... No such behavior was on my side : (
You mean you did not do anything and camera went downwards?
Ok, so I just tested it now. It appears that there is no issues if I am not controlling anything, the camera will indeed just stay still. However, the sensitivity does seem to be the problem, at least for me. When I play the game and I move my mouse, the movements have to be very small or else the camera will move quit quickly and make it a little hard to control. Once again, it could be a problem on my side I really don't know that much when it comes to this, it's just a problem I find when I play.
Yeah, you are right, that's the way I designed it
I'm very thankful for your feedback!
I will lower base sensitivity value and will add a slider to further customize it.
Right now though I can't upload any updates due to the strange issue with the Jam

Oh, never mind! The Jam has already ended!
So there is no issue, and sadly I'm unable to update the project till voting ends
If possible, could you provide a macOS version of your game?
Sadly I'm unable to update the project till the voting ends, but I can send you a .zip file with the macos version
