A cool concept of connecting with people via small talk and mini games. It feels well made, looks good and was fun to play.
I always appreciate a game that doesn't overstay it's welcome, I think you foun. This one's nice, a well implemented ode to Undertale. You've got a good number of dodge patterns in there, some are a bit simple but some are indeed a challenge, it all works well and you kept it all visually simple which is really nice, everything is clear. My only improvement suggestion would be to have the talking sections playable with the keyboard too, I had to swap over to my mouse for those parts which is, not major, but a slight flow breaker. Other than that, nice work, funny idea, visually very nice :)
Pretty simple and fun.
A standout issue is that most of the attack patterns are nearly impossible to react to when you first see them, but that's somewhat offset by the generous amount of HP you have.
I see someone was inspired by Undertale! Not a bad thing, Undertale has a very unique system, and I like that you were trying to emulate the feeling of trying to figure out what the character is thinking while also trying to stay alive! You captured that really well here!
I like the art - it's simple, but distinct. Each character looks and feels different, and the simple color palette makes it easy to know what to do/what to touch!
I wish the dialogue was a liiiittle more dynamic. You can pick the same option between each key and it won't change anything, which feels a little weird in the context of making chit-chat with some coworkers. Although, maybe the entire point is that you tend to have the same conversations with the same coworkers, I don't know.
I see the connection to the theme, but I wish it was a little bit more concrete. Like, being able to get a little bit more out of them, or even something as simple as having them all together somehow at the end, you know?
Either way, great job, this was a cute game to play!
