I've just released an update to Snap Pals which fixes the game's biggest issue!

Great concept that's also well executed! I get lost in controls easily but that's just me.

A cool concept fitting for the theme.  Was fun to play and looks good.  I liked the cooperative combat mechanic and how the weapon system changes when swapping positions.  Addressing the balance between ground and air combat will make this a solid little game.

Hi, everyone!
Thanks for all your positive feedback! I'm planning to release an update for Snap Pals after the jam has finished, which should fix all the issues you've mentioned.
I can't believe I didn't figure out that Pink being on top was way too powerful until after I submitted! I definitely plan to address that.

This is really cool, great job! It takes some practice, but once you figure it out, it's a really cool mechanic that is implemented really well! I liked the music too. The only thing I would really say is that when you're in the formation where you press space to shoot (pink on top, I believe) you don't technically need to swap positions at all to stay alive. It feels a little weird, but aside from that, this is excellent! My high score (not doing what I mentioned before) was 125!

Very unique gameplay! Although I feel like there should be more threats when you connect with pink on top, you can just turn left and right and shoot to rack up infinite points.

The game is too easy when plays it safely. The player can stay and gaining little score as much as they want. The only risk in this game is when the player want to target air targets.

I really like this interpretation. Its a nice one. And sound effects are well.

The clicking sound when connecting felt very satisfying. Clever idea overall, this must be very fun in local coop, which I have yet to try (yes, I have friends)! This concept could easily be expanded to work in coop on a console like the Switch. In Singleplayer it felt a bit too hectic, maybe a quick disconnect button can ease this a bit. More than solid game and worthy entry meeting the theme of the jam. Thanks for submitting it.

This game was really cool and very fun to play. I really like the snap mechanic its so clever. The little click sound when you connect and then having to switch controls really tests your co-ordination (probably easier with 2 people). An enjoyable game I really liked it. Well done ThePowerPlayer, a very good idea.

Thanks so much! Your game was really fun, too.

Somewhat frantic having to quickly switch between controls but I think it adds to the charm! Nice job!

This is a neat idea. It might be good to let the characters jump when they are on top of each other in case the player slightly misses the point at which they snap together or widen that area.
