Short but good! I included it in my LOWREZJAM compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Very cool music. Lot of graphics work. But we can't shoot the boss ;(.  I love the dead animation. Good work.

Thank you!

I've realized, after all the comments, that the HTML export is broken... I've added the Windows and Linux versions (there are other bugs, but at least, the Lizard can be defeated XD).

 Thank you!

I didn't manage to damage the monster and sometimes the gunshot didn't fire when I pressed space bar.

The graphics was very nice, but the text didn't respect the 64x64 pixels limit.

Developer

  Thank you for your review!

The  monster loses life every hit it receives, but the life bar doesn't update until a bunch of hits. Sorry.

I think that you're right, I have to check the scaling algorithm of the text fonts.

 Thank you!

You were right again!

Sorry, the HTML export is broken (I thought there were incompatible browsers)...
I've added the Windows and Linux exports.

 Thank you!

Thoughts from playing:

  • The main scene has a lot nice little details. I especially liked the clouds moving in the background.
  • The death animation is smooth and dramatic.
  • Jumping feels a little weird. The player shoots up quickly and then floats down giving a strange jump arc.
  • I could not figure out how to damage the monster.

Thank you for your kind comments!

I drawn even a cool spinning animation for the jumping... But it didn't work neither...  Next time, I'll try to simulate the jumping a little bit more usable.

To damage the monster, lots of shots are needed. The life bar doesn't update until several hits. I Have to fix that also.

  Thanks!
