Did you work in a team?
Solo dev, it was a very fun experience which opened me up to new optimization techniques

Was the resolution a challenge?
At first figuring out how to make a bullet hell work in 64x64 was a bit tricky, but overtime I slowly figured out ways to make it work

What did you learn?
I think it will definitely help me in terms of thinking about optimization and level design

Great little R-type action game. I appreciate that you gave me a little bit of time to get used to the controls before throwing enemies at me, and I enjoyed the element of strategy in grabbing item.

Since you need to move toward the center of the map to grab items, it's a risky gambit because you have to get closer to enemies.

I would have liked to see something trying out different or new gameplay, but this is very solid for the genre.

I definitely wanted to add in a few more elements to the game before submitting but I ran out of time, didn't have time to include an extra 2 levels and special powerups, as well as new elements that the originals didn't include. Didnt really start working on the game till a few days after the jam so could've focused more time on it, but I appreciate the response!
