The hills can sometimes be a bit too steep and make it hard to see oncoming terrain but the design is very unique, nothing I've really seen in a racing game.

Is this game true 3d or is it some funky math?

Mostly funky math! Things get smaller as they go away, but the math is warped to try and make it work better in the smaller resolution

The old-school rendering of the road is super charming! The bounciness feels great too! The audio can get super loud at times though.

Really nice, and original, aesthetic!

It's perfectly fine as simple as it is, but some wrapping and polishing would go a long way here; menu, start countdown, etc.

thanks! Yeah wish I had more time but between work family and camping that’s where I ended. I would like to pick it up again without 64x64 restriction, because in higher res it’s even cooler as I have less restriction.

The visuals are so cool! I can totally see a racing game with this perspective, and jumping in the hills feels really good. Very fun game!

Oh but for some reason I couldn't play on Google Chrome because WebGL was not available, had to use Edge.
(EDIT): My mistake, had to update Chrome first oops.

i really love the junkiness of this game, and the chaoticness. some music would have made it even better.

While the big loop is pretty bare bones, the core gameplay is decent. What I'm assuming was a ghost car showing my previous run was a nice touch! The rendering gimmick is as old as video games, but it's executed well here :) Maybe I would've made the track have slighter curves to reduce the chaos a bit and reward the player at times with some easier sections. Audio ticked the boxes for a racing game but the volume differences made it a bit jarring to listen to. Overall a solid entry!

The bounciness of the car feels really good and there is a great sense of speed. Occasionally it's a bit hard to judge where the road is going if there is a particularly nasty combination of peaks and troughs but the feel kept bringing me back to try again!

Interesting idea, made it to 3837 points on my second attempt. Hard for me to say anything more because this game is certainly unique :)

Man this jump animation made me dead laughing. Really cute racing game.
Can't wait to play it on GXC to get some highscores ;)

That's one of the coolest racing concept I ever played!
Once you get used to it, it becomes simple, yet you never should let you guard down. Very pleasant game.

Before I've even played: Ohhhhh I saw you on Twitter and have been sharing your game on the discord for the jam a few times. this looks awesome! Will return after playing!

EDIT: After: Okay, so I SUCK at this game. Also the audio is messing with one of my ears. I don't exactly know what's going on but my ear-hole feels like it's going crazy.  Gotta say this game has some fantastic potential. Can't wait to see more from you.
