Nice mechanics… lighting fires were maybe a bit too frequent, made it really hard to recover water levels. A bit more work on balancing the gameplay seems to be needed for this to get to it’s full potential. Nice job!

Did you work in a team?
Yes, I worked with PbmnLuv. It was great.
We did Programming, Art, Audio FX and Music together.
Was the resolution a challenge?
We never did a pixel perfect game before, so it was a brand new experience setting up the project.
Other than that, it was not that hard actually. The zoom-out feature made it possible to fit more stuff into the screen. The problem is the pixel-flickering when scaling and drawing objects, but we can call that style.
What did you learn?
This was our first game jam together, so you can imagine... Lots of things. You see, pair programming is different than programming, art design is different from pair art design... In short, it changes everything you see.
