Nice angles to watch the enemies go in. I included it in my compilation video series of the Low Rez Jam games, if you would like to take a look :)

Really enjoyed the game. Took me a while to figure out what was going on and how to upgrade. But its a nice TD game

That perspective change is very clever and adds a fair bit of visual oomph, as it were.

nice game, i like the way in which it changes from top-down (Ortho) to Perspective :D

Nice tower defense! felt addicting (my bias for loving tower defenses). Amazing game, but i missed music/sounds, and maybe a more cohesive color pallet for the art ^^ overall loved it!

Developer

@subpixel and @bonus1up, thank you, I really like it too.
The effect was achieved by manipulating the projection matrix. I just lerped between the two matrices (the perspective for wave phase and the orthogonal for build phase).

Did I make any sense? haha xD

Yeah, the camera transition from top to 3D is super-smooth, how did you do that?

Submitted

Very nice. I really like the transition to top down for the build phase, it looks so tidy. I also liked the snappiness to it all.

I'm looking forward to see this one finished.

Graphics look amazing, I love low resolution 3D games. I've enjoyed this one a lot, even though there's a point where you fill the map to the brim with turrets and it's just watching them smash everything passing near them. Great game!

Good luck! Glad I'm not the only one starting with scratch on this one :)
