Nice idea! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation, if you’d like to take a look :)
Thank you Jupiter Hadley ! You have a new subscribe now ;)
The concept is really nice, loved the use of the grappling hook as the base mechanic is really nice, as Veralos said, an indicator for the range would be really nice, but the overall experience is really good, visuals and audio are really nice and the audio does have that "escape from the cave" feeling in it! :)
Loved the music and the grappling hook mechanic was a nice touch. Only disappointed in the lack of actual guinea pigs ;)
Nice little game. Grappling hook style items in games are always pretty fun and this is no exception. Not being able to jump is an interesting twist. I wish there was some indicator of the grapnel's range, though. I also find it a bit awkward how you have to press the button again to let go. Personally, I would have made you automatically let go when you hit a wall, but allow you to stay on the wall if you hold the button. Anyway, the music is good and the graphics are decent.
Hello Veralos :) About the grapnel range, you definitely right a feedback is missing ! And the level design don't really help you to understand this mechanics in the first level. I like your suggestion about the grapnel, it will increase the pressure when you should stay on a wall, but maybe increase the difficulty too, strong choice... Thanks again for you comment !
Great game, I completed it on my second try. The grappling mechanic is very well done and I liked the level design. I would love to see this further developed!
Thanks a lot for your feedback ! I wonder if it's worth to do more with this game :)
