Cool game! I love the "vector" arcade aesthetic, do you actually draw all the art real-time using Draw calls or are they just sprites made to look that way?

Gameplay wise it was incredible challenging to move the flower and spin the petals at the same time, but I found great success by just sitting in one spot and alternating which petal I spin back and forth. I'm sure there is lots you could do with this, good job and keep it up

Thanks for playing! I love this look too, I've made a lot of games based on it over the years. Yes they are just polygons (represented by lists of vertices) in game engine terms, everything that moves is drawn in real time every tick. Even the letters are polygons! 😌 I used the luxe Shape modifier to manage the drawing etc., although I started out with something that was a little bit more reinventing the wheel! 🤣 It gave a similar effect, but was much more complex codewise than using luxe's own modifiers.

The classic thing with these avoiding games is trying not to add mechanics that encourage staying in one place, but I really wanted the petals to spin and have a purpose in so doing. Sadly I didn't have time to add something else to continue encouraging movement as well.
