Really intriguing thumbnail! Nice character and environment. Quite experimental audioscape. Sorry for the camera bug. Couldn't play much further with that. I tried a bit also the updated build, but didn't quite master the techniques and was not able to save the forrest from the fire. Nonetheless, I appreciate the great ambition shown in the size of this project, and jams are an excellent opportunity to explore new challenges. Good job!
Art looks good, interesting ways tp use the air. Encountered the bug with the camera moving to a boulder. With the fixed build I still couldn't find a way past the sunflowers.
Yeah, we got a bit ambitious here haha You can use the whirlwinds on the fire, we could have made the spirit give more hints. Thanks for playing our game!
PROS:
- Cool lowpoly models
- Nice colors they are cute
CONS:
- Sound is abit off for the mood
- The trees tend to block my view, I wish the camera was closer to the player like, yes i'm going to say it, fortnite
- Eventually camera just cuts to a rock and there is no way to exit this cutscene. But the rock isn't all bad, it has some grass and a grey panel on it or something.
Thanks for the feedback! We tested out a few different character controllers, but spent too much time lol Yeah the camera bug was unfortunate, but we have an updated build submitted just a few minutes after the deadline =[
