Got  some hearty chuckles out of me. Not much in the way of gameplay though. Wish there was a little more payoff for the ending but no big deal. Good work!

i know that the color tune is gray for the narrative reason. but unfortunately, This raises the difficulty to make it look attractive. it succesfully give me a depression feeling, which matches the background setting but probably not good for a short game with jokes. Maybe higher contrast (like black and white movie) will be better? As i am not an artist, i don't have any good suggestion for you.

This game is what I would call a bizarre adventure indeed. In Shroom me up, Granny, you play as a magical girl who goes out looking for a diamond... and the rest of the story is full of memes, references and non sequiturs. It's fun as an adventure game, even though it's all over the place. The one-handed controls means you can sip your tea while leisurely exploring the cool isometric dungeons, solving easy puzzles and finding weird stuff. The music is very charming, even though it sounds like it was made in MuseScore. And all the art looks great, from the tiles to the character portraits. The game is paced well enough to never get boring.

In one room there was a puzzle with a keypad lock. I guessed the combination in literally 2 tries, but that's just one example of how brilliant and stupid this game is.

I rate it 69/420, because it's like, totally neurodivergent! Great job guys! Hope you return for Magical Girm Game Jame #5!

Shroom me up indeed.... very trippy game! It felt like a lucid dream or something.

Though I would have liked a bit more color, I really liked the isometric dungeon graphics! They had a style to them that felt nostalgic. The story and writing was bizarre, but in a good way. The music all worked well throughout.

Critique-wise, I think a bit more gameplay or puzzles might have helped. I also experience some graphical glitches here and there, but thankfully due to the surreal nature of the game it didn't really bug me.

Overall, I was amused throughout, and enjoyed my time in this post-capitalism dystopia.  Great work!

This made me laugh a bit throughout. The non-sequiturs and random-but-barely-connected-stuff happening was surprisingly entertaining, the easy-going puzzling and walking around was fine, it was all kind of nice. Not that much magical-girling going on really but there sure were a lot of diamonds.

There was some kind of bug with the walking around where some physics stuff seemed to be working on the capsule that I couldn't tell what was going on, where I would be encountering unexpected resistance sometimes for reasons I couldn't tell, but it didn't really get in the way or anything so it was fine.

Would probably say the copy editing could be better, the portraits larger etc, but ya know, I was feeling it. I actually really liked the music and the graphics were mostly cohesive (though the character models were a bit flat)

I really liked the music you had in the game. It was pretty badass. The game play was easy enough and the dialogue was interesting. I didn't really see any magic girl concept, but maybe I just missed it.

This really feels like an SBIG Jam entry. And I mean that in the best possible way.

There are a lot of things in this game which I would normally have considered flaws, but because the game doesn't take itself seriously, they become at worst nonissues and sometimes even features. In particular the writing is all over the place, but since the game is meant to be silly and weird, it works.

I think the only thing I didn't really like was the ending, which fits the game thematically but isn't really my style. The audio design is surprisingly good, but the graphics are only passable- they work but they don't stand out.

I'm not sure how much replayability is here, either, as there's very little gameplay and I suspect many of the jokes won't work as well the second time around, but I don't think that's a major issue for a jam game.

Nonetheless, I was pretty much laughing the whole time and greatly enjoyed the whole experience from the title screen to the ending.
