This is definitely more of a tech demo than a game. It has no sound and very limited animation, but you already know that.

I didn't realize I could double jump at first, and it didn't seem to work consistently. Was it tied to cake? This could have been explained better, even if it was just a line of text on the itch page. The movement feels kind of floaty, but it's not awful, and the forgiving ledge detection is appreciated. The level had the feel of the jumps looking really difficult while being quite doable, which I'm not really a fan of, but that's probably down to personal taste.

For something thrown together at the last minute, it's not bad, though, and infinitely better than no entry at all.

Pretty solid for a last minute entry. Wasn't expecting to break through the wall at end. I'd be interested to seeing where else you go with this if you plan to continue working on it. The main thing I have to say is that at the very start of the game my double-jump seemed to be pretty inconsistent - it felt like it was only working when pushed against a wall. It cleared up by the end though, so maybe it was tied to the number of cakes I had, and I just didn't notice. Anyways, good job on your entry!

Fun little collectathon

ending surprised me :)

Cakes are eaten. Walls are broken. ...Sweet...?

Yah i know it's a last minute project from discord. but it's still cool to see you finished a submission on time.
