I think if the health was merged with the red arrows it would be a good trade off. We would not be knocked out in one hit, but we would lose the valuable red arrows. Or merged with the heart/money, like the rings in sonic games.

Good idea!

The presentation of the game and use of limitation are flawless. It's one of the best looking games in the jam for me. I only struggled a bit with the level design, some times in the first level I wasn't sure where I was supposed to go, but really enjoyed the game. And have you made it with Construct? That's insane! Great game

This really has old-school vibes. The mechanics, graphics and sound create a very coherent experience and let me tell you - this is probably the hardest part of making pixel-art game. I think you have done awesome job here!

This is probably the most well made game on this jam. It's a bit harder than I could handle but it does not mean it's too difficult. I am happy it defeated me as  I will be able to try few more times and maybe 'do it' at certain point :).

Once again - good job!

The game is quite hard but it's still fun to play XD
I like how the limited red arrow makes you plan the killing so it don't run out, that makes the game become more challenging XD
The placement of the hearts is great too. It's hard to reach but worth it for the shop upgrade.

Probably the best use of the spritesheet in this jam, that's a very pretty game, one of the most professional ones imo.

I feel i could really get into this one, but the 1 hit death is frustrating and there's a lot of waiting and backtracking, feels a little bit like artificial difficulty to me. Maybe if there was at least 2 to 3 HP i wouldnt mind so much.

I really liked the flight mechanic. It felt awesome to tap the fly button and use less stamina while flying farther horizontally. It made me feel like I was breaking the game in a good way that didn't feel buggy... think wavedashing super smash. I liked that you included a story, and the difficulty was pretty solid! It was hard, but I felt motivated enough to keep playing and get better each time. I think the only bug I encountered was on stage 2 where I couldn't enter the shop anymore. Super fun mechanics in a metroidvania kind of game.:)
