Cool narrative! Took me some time to understand what was going first on but enjoyed it in the end :D

Developer

Thanks for playing the game XD
I'm glad you enjoyed it XD
I'll try to fix it to make it more easily understandable

Goosebumps.

I got used to it later, but at the start the character movement was hard to control, too fast/slippery.

Developer

Thanks for playing XD
Yeah, for the movement, I think it's because the character size is too small in Unity making it hard to set the comfortable movement speed. Thanks XD I'll try to configure it later.
Sorry for the late reply :'

Nice concept! Surely a different game

Developer

Thanks XD

Very different game from the other ones I have tried so far.

Absolutely loved 2 things-
-more she remembered her heartbeat got faster, and also her vision was more colorful.
-You can just go straight to the end (die) is darkness.
Nice concept. Enjoyed it. XD

Thanks for testing the game XD

I'm planning to show different ending depending on which part the player skip. I'll try to add it after the rating period.
I'm glad you loved it XD

That sounds interesting. :)

Oh, I never realized the sound in the background was supposed to be a heart until I read Cian's post. I didn't particularly enjoy it, but that context makes sense.

I really enjoyed the narrative. I didn't understand what to do when the people who were staring at me came up.

Good concept though. I liked it.

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it XD
Yeah, maybe the sound will be better if I replaced it with more realistic sound.
For the staring part, is it the 1st or the 2nd?
if it's the 1st you just need to go to the eye that is different from the other
the 2nd and later, just ignore it and go straight up.
But, yeah I think it's hard to understand because of the inconsistency between the 1st and the others. The lack of hint also make it more confusing.
Thanks for the insights, I will try to fix it later after the rating period XD

I think it's the third one after the ice cream, and the bus stop

Developer

this one?

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, you got it.

Developer(+1)

Ooh I see. Thanks for clarifying. XD
Yeah, at that part, you can just walk forward passing the eyes without doing anything. But, sadly there is no hint at all that the player can do that. I'll try to think a way to give a hint at that part.
Thanks XD

The concept is really cool, and I really like what you did with the "heartbeat" in the background.

I think if the memories were slightly more in depth then I'd feel more connected to the character.

Would definitely be interested in playing this type of game again!

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the game XD
I'm still learning on how to make a good stories. I will definitely try to improve it XD

WHAT?! Did I die?? I think I missed it, but it was still an engaging experience. I was invested enough to play until the end and try to figure out where I was or what I was doing. I also thought it was a super neat touch to have the beginning section bring the player back to the main menu. I didn't get it the first time, but I thought it was kinda cool once I realized. I think you built some useful systems here too! Would be cool to see your later projects build off of what you started here.:)

Developer

Yep, the character is die here. She is seeing her memories before going to the afterlife.
I think I missed adding the part showing how she died at the end, thus causing the confusion.
I wonder which system you liked from the game. Is it the background changing color?
Thanks btw, I'm glad you liked the game XD

I thought your inventory in particular was super clean and it gave me some FF1 vibes which I appreciated since I'm awful at UI stuff.:)

Developer

Ooh I see, thanks for the insights XD
