Very interesting and creative entry. Great descriptions and enough to go on to inspire a creative story. Music & ambience are well-chosen and help to build atmosphere.
I do feel that the rulebook (on the itch.io page) has some graphical effects that make it rather hard on the eyes, a sort of chromatic aberration. I wouldn't use that on text.
I might be stupid, because this was too dificult for me to figure out. Coming from someone who's team made a confusing game to begin with, I appreciate the use of the restriction, and the art. Great effort, but I'm affraid I couldn't experience it in a meaningful way.
Could I ask you what exactly was difficult to figure out? It would help us immensely with making the game more accessible to know exactly what you did and didn't understand.
Did you read the rulebook? Also, this works similarly to a cross between interactive text-based fiction and a solo journalling TTRPG somewhat Powered by the Apocalypse. Are you already familiar with any of this?
Love the use of the restriction, and the overall feel. I have to admit, I didn’t do the journaling part – don’t quite have the energy right now – but I love the concept. Also very fond the auguries – the descriptions of the skies are beautiful. The music was eerie and effective – gave the game almost a sense of menace, or at least of strange powers at work :)
