Wow, that was pretty cool.

The idea’s solid, it’s definitely not a conventional type of game.

I think maybe some sound effects would help let you know when the keys switch and which direction you pressed.

Love the art and animations..music is calm which make this game a little bit less frustrating ..but still you will get frustrated eventually(joking). Hardest game actually.

Developer

Thanks for playing and the kind feedback! I thought the calm music was a funny contrast to the difficulty of the game :)

Simple, but controls well. Until you lose control... ... I was actually considering using the music you used, chose a different track instead though. Unfortunately I fell and got stuck in a platform at some point. Was going pretty well before that.

Developer

Ha, what a coincidence! I’m glad you had fun with it. I added ‘R’ as a restart button if you get stuck; I couldn’t really find a fix for that.

If you're using discrete collision detection, changing that to continuous collision detection should help. Otherwise, setting a max fall speed is also something you could try.

thanks!

It's pretty simple, but I liked it!

The controls are really good.

Thanks! I wanted to make it entirely on Leap Day so that’s why it’s pretty simple but I’m proud of it!
