Hello everyone:) Let me start off by saying Thankyou to our host and Sponsers. This is a devlog to keep track of my progress and to look back on. This is my second jam although my first was brackeys #3 and i made the mistake of uploading a game but not submitting:/. So in some ways this will be my first real jam submission. I am getting into this jam a bit late due to having to learn everything about platformers because of having no knowledge in the area. I have decided to make my game from scratch using Unity. I figured i would rather attempt to improve my skills rather than attempt to win:P Good Luck to all in the jam

Day 1: 2/27/20 "Art" Tile maps collision matrix character sketchup? Also coming up with the idea of a fish out of water to be INCONGRUOUS!;)

I tried my hand at my first real pixel arty 32bit style. I am not much of a artist but suprisingly it looks more like what i was going for and less like the dumpsterfire i expected.

Day 2: 2/28/20 Physics and collision, setting up obstacles movement along with players movement, also made pickups and came up with a back story so i can continue working in a direction. Didn't get as much done as id like to but that's ok its in a playable state although no game-over loop just yet.

Tahnks:) i managed to even work out a storyline that fits this weird character although im not sure if ill have time to tell it within the game, it might just be a description story for the purpose of this jam:P
