I liked the theme and I found the design of the level very good! congratulations! :)
The slippery controls matched the theme extremely well. I wish the spikes were a little more telegraphed though.

Funny game..like fish bouncing from walls. But there are no indication of spikes that can come from ground also camera could't see that giant blade down and die twice there....keep up the good work and goodluck.

Fish is def out of place! I think you could ramp up the difficulty a bit later and be more generous in the beginning while I am still learning the controls. Escpailly as we all have similar controls and I am using similar buttons but I am also coming out of other games where I have to relearn timing.
Thanks for your feedback:) yeah i was late into this jam and decided to take on a bit more then i should have considering:P i had planned for more difficult parts to be towards the end and keep the difficulty closer to a steady level, but i started running out of time so after the first half of the level i slacked on the second half:( i wanted more traps and obstacles especially on the back elevators;) Due to the jam being one level i really wanted it to be some what challenging and encourage more play time through repeated attempts, although looking back a bit more kindness while learning the controls and a few checkpoints would have gone a long way haha. Im glad you decided to play it and even happier you took the time for feedback. Thank you:)
Really liked the theme. The fish also really feels like a fish! Sort of slipper and bouncy. Some of the colliders are definitely a bit off though, I lost the ability to jump once in a while, and the moving platforms at the end would sometimes become de-synced. Really nice overall!
Yeah i noticed the slippery feeling lol i kept it in because of the feel fitting it but it definetly was not intentional:P I rushed the back half of the level which is why the issues with the platforms and difficulty are kind of wonky but im glad you played it and thank you for your feedback:)

Unity is usually kind of weird with jumping, for me at least. I enjoyed how tight jumping felt.
Yeah its weird with unity, i used a rigidbody then tweaked the physics 2d settings. I turned gravity to -80 on the y axis to make the character snap back down to the ground.

Fun concept and solid basic gameplay. There were some difficulties moving through the map, but you play as a fish so maybe that explains it. Anyway, I've never been more wary in my life about grass patches before. You guys have been warned!

Fantastic idea for the theme. I agree with the other comment about checkpoints, but overall it wasnt too much of a problem. I just had to try harder not to die.
yeah it adds a bit of a different feel less of a beat the time and more of the take your time or else haha but i think if i make it into more then a level ill have to add a solid checkpoint system:P thanks for your feedback glad you enjoyed it:)

I think you should add some checkpoints, some signs about position of obstacles.
