I am no good at these types of platformers, but I do recognize just how well-designed the game is. It's a great-looking and great-feeling game, and fans of precision platformers should jump (no pun intended) right on this one!
I'm the worst platformer player on the world probably. Anyway I like this game a lot. Levels are hard, but they very well designed. I like a lot the effects and the innovative mechanics.
Great job!
Amazing job! Everything feels so polished and the new mechanics really add to the experience. Although the game is hard, it's not unfair and I feel like a big part of the fun is learning how to complete a room through trial and error.
My only feedback is that the checkpoints need to be a bit more obvious (either have the lanterns light up, or a little sound effect play), and maybe some of the new mechanics need a slightly better introduction. Other than that I think this is an awesome entry and I can see it being a very popular platformer once it's fully released.
I love the updates on this one! I remember playing the last version, it's cool seeing how far it's come. I do feel like the difficulty ramp is quite steep, I wasn't able to get too far.
hey, thanks for playing! would you mind telling me how far you got and what you found most challenging?
I made it to this room, but couldn't get past (30-50 attempts). To be clear, I'm not great at precision platformers, so that's partially the issue. The dash mechanic hadn't been officially introduced, so I'm assuming that the level is beatable without it, but I was getting stuck even with it. The main thing I noticed is that the spikes have a very large and unforgiving hitbox, I kept clipping them on the corners.
