Beautiful and incredibly detailed artwork! I had a great time finding all the little guys, as someone else said it was nice that they all had hints otherwise I would have gotten stuck for sure!

Good luck with the full game release!

Loved the visuals of this entry! It definitely could have benefited from some nice minimalist audio to match.

Also good job on the little easter egg at the end, I knew there was going to be something at the end of that corridor! ;)

It was genuinely a lot of fun playing this on stream even though I was terrible at it :D I hope you can get the multiplayer mode working because I think it has a lot of potential as a fun little party game!

Really smart puzzle game, I think this is my favourite use of the theme so far!

The puzzles were really fun to figure out - I'd have loved to keep playing but I only had limited time on stream!

This was such a fun little adventure game, genuinely made me laugh a couple of times when I was playing it on stream :) Also really nice job on the gameboy audio and visuals!

This game has such a beautiful aesthetic, like Don't Starve crossed with a Tim Burton movie :D

As I mentioned on stream, I think it would benefit a lot from having a short in-game tutorial - maybe a character can guide you around the first few steps (e.g. "try searching this bin", "oh hey an item, you can go sell that over here" etc).

Had a blast playing this on stream! Being able to change your characters stats is pretty unique, I had a lot of fun trying the crazy jumping builds haha.

As I mentioned on stream, I would shrink the hitboxes for the spikes a little bit - sometimes it felt a little unfair when I barely touched them and died.

Fun concept and I loved the upgrade tree! I think I would have liked the jump height to be variable (i.e. a short tap of the button would result in a smaller jump), it would make avoiding the objects a little easier.

Super fun entry and incredibly polished! It's a great example of how minimalist graphics can look awesome with the right screen effects. It was quite difficult but upgrading your fire-rate and bullet count was tonnes of fun :)

Very interesting concept, I loved how much difference the powerups made - I loved zooming around the map and forcing the zombies to slow down with my light! Opening the exit door was quite tricky but it was fun figuring out the best strategies/builds to go for.

Very cute game, was a lot of fun trying this on stream! I think it would be good to have a way of growing your own food supply. I also think I may have found a bug as I sold most of my cows, but the food consumption did not decrease.

I think this is one of the best looking entries so far, really enjoyed playing this on stream! As I mentioned, I felt the movement was a little laggy and the motion blur a little too high. I also think it would be cool if the wolves didn't make a baa sound, so you could subtly tell them apart from the real sheep. Fantastic work overall though!

I think you've seen/heard my comments already, but I really loved this entry, I genuinely wanted to keep playing it on stream. It reminded me of early 90s simulation games (which I was a big fan of back in the day). I'm happy to see that you're continuing to develop it and adding a real time mode, I'll definitely give it another play after the jingle jam wraps up :)

Amazing work for a week! I loved the pixel art, and the choice of characters gave it some nice replay value. I would have liked to see a bit more randomisation with regards to the battles, it seemed like every map started the same way and there was nothing I could do to protect the first few NPCs.

I found it a bit buggy, but I love the concept of an FTL type game where you're crew can leave the ship and explore other places. I hope you'll continue working on it because I think it has a lot of promise!

I think you already heard my comments on stream, but this was an amazing entry! I'm just sad I broke the game before I could finish haha.

It could definitely benefit from some audio, maybe some nice ambient sounds and/or melancholy background music?

Aww, thanks Mr Raven! What a lovely experience :) And always great to see people do creative things with RenPy!

This was such a lovely idea and a genuinely chill experience just moving around the galaxy seeing all the donations. Also the diggy hole remix was beautiful!

(1 edit)

It was so much fun playing this on stream! I'm actually considering getting some of my friends to try it out on Saturday's stream haha. Amazing job for only a week!

My only comment was I think the calculators should reset between rooms, as a few times I almost bid the wrong amount for the next item.

Awesome cozy life simulator :) The visuals in particular are really nicely done.

Had a blast playing this on stream, I loved the fact you could lose your limbs haha. I found it a little easy to just get to the end by spinning the wheel, but I guess the goal is to get there intact?

This was so much fun to play on stream! It reminded me of PlateUp with everyone queuing up haha. As I mentioned before, I didn't realise the conveyor belt could be sped up, though now that I look at the screenshots I can see the button is actually pretty obvious :D

Amazing entry, super polished and I loved all the little references! It took me a while to figure out the controls (I didn't realise you could slow down for ages haha) but it was a tonne of fun to play after that.

Loved this! The minimalist artwork and audio was very cute and worked really well. I did find a bug (I think) where the game ended because I ate too much, but my fish count didn't reset.

Awesome job, I really loved the old-school GTA vibe and the randomisation element. I think it would have been nice to include some subtle background audio, and maybe a health bar for the boss, but other than that this was an incredibly polished entry :)

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it :D

Thanks so much! Yes I'd like to get the bugs fixed once the jam is over :)

Thanks for playing!

I'm not sure why this doesn't have more ratings, this is genuinely one of the cleverest entries so far. First of all, I'm so glad someone went with the theme of two clothing buttons :)  Second, creating a physics game like this in 72 hours is really impressive, especially one this polished. The puzzles were genuinely fun to figure out, and I really hope you will continue to work on this because it left me wanting to play more! Amazing job!

5/5, would pat cat again :)

Loved this entry! It's extremely polished as others have said, and I loved trying out all the different upgrades (extra cannons were my favourite lol). I would have like to have see some more stuff popping up in the sea, maybe different kinds of ships, or mermaids that offer bonuses etc. But obviously those are things that can be added later, overall this was a really amazing job for 72 hours :)

Glad I persisted until the end! Loved the atmosphere, the audio cues when you press the buttons were a nice touch. I'd have liked a way to clear my save, as I had to try a different browser to see what happened if I gave up :)

I think it would also be good if you mixed up the despair effects, like have the buttons move around or jump to another part of the screen before you can click it.

Loved the aesthetic and animations, it definitely could have used some audio though to really bring it alive (although I wasn't sure if I had accidentally muted it). The gameplay was solid but the delay on the jump was tricky to deal with.

Loved the concept, and the overall look and feel was very atmospheric. The gameplay was tricky but I did start to get the hang of it eventually, and shooting the ghosts was particularly fun! I managed to figure out when to hide from spirits, but the part I struggled with was knowing when to pop back up :)

First of all, I love the pixel art, the bull character in particular! The music was great, and the way it changed from whimsical to depressing when you had to rest made me laugh :D The gameplay was simple but it definitely had a charm to it, it made me want to play on each time and try to beat my high score. The only part that I struggled with was sometimes it wasn't obvious what was a big tree and what was a medium one, particularly with the different tree types. Aside from that, it was a very solid entry overall, congrats!

Loved the art style and colour pallet, really fit the mood well. Also the name Tungsten Mage is awesome! The concept was interesting but I found the gameplay a little too tricky overall, particularly aiming your attack. I also encountered the ladder issue that others have pointed out.

Very funny concept, I did play to the end although I left it running in another window while I played another entry. I think I would have liked a way to speed up the battles if possible.

My conga line of bomb cars were unstoppable!

Amazing job! Really loved this entry. The robotic chatter and background audio were very immersive and gave me a Homeworld vibe. The levels themselves were nicely presented, and although the gameplay was very simple, it was weirdly addictive. I would have liked to see maybe one more unit type, and I think I would have preferred LMB + RMB as the controls rather than Space. But these are minor things, overall it was a really awesome entry.

The LCD display looked really great, loved the shadowing effect. Really took me back to playing those kinds of handheld games as a kid!

It would have been nice if some of the other buttons were clickable, and also if the button had a slight animation on press.

Awesome concept, Dude died 71 times, RIP.

I wanted to comment that the game should wait until a button is pressed before the character starts walking, but on reflection, I think that would ruin some of the fun :)
