A downloadable game.

Underrated, this is one of my favorite pick-up-and-play oneshot games. It always brings out so much creativity at the table and we have a ton of fun detailing the different locations we go to

I love this game. Gentle and ethereal.

After playing four sessions of this game, I have to say I have fallen in love. It has definitely become a staple for me for gaming sessions of our regular campaign where someone has to cancel shortly before or doesn't feel quite awake and well enough to focus on a more rules heavy roleplaying game. So, instead, I directly involve my players in building the cities they will visit in later sessions. It is a lot of fun.

At first we had some pacing issues, but quickly resolved those when I already came into the session with a name and a few "starting vibes" for the city. We also decided not to stick to rounds, but to make it a more open game where someone proposes an idea, and the others help develop it by making suggestions and jumping off other ideas. Maybe that was how the game was always supposed to be, but for us, a group of perfectionists, it felt like we were "not supposed to talk" during another persons turn. So, leaving turns out entirely made it easier to transform the game into a conversation and a bit of a shared brainstorming session. The more loose we got with rules, the more we started to spread our creative wings.

We have now built two places, a sprawling city and a small but detailed village, and my life as game master has become much easier. First of all, much of the worldbuilding has been done already. Second of all, when we visit these places in game, my players will automatically be way more invested in them and the people, because they have helped shape the place.

Thank you for this absolute gem of a game, I am so looking forward to playing it again and again.
