Loved the blend of Worms and third person shooters, I will most certainly play more of this.
I absolutely loved the turn-based gameplay, and the destruction! The only grip I have is with the way the control sprites kept switching, took me a while to understand which button did what.
It's cool that you have the controller/keyboard inputs in the game but I found the constant flashing very confusing. I was terrible at it but luckily the enemy also blew itself up :D Cool destructible terrain! I managed to win after suiciding two of my team by knocking the enemy into the water too.
Really fun! Great work!
They are pretty disorienting, in retrospect I should've done the thing where hitting a key makes the keyboard stuff show up, and hitting a gamepad button makes the gamepad stuff show up.
Not a bad 3D worms-like. I had a very hard time judging distance and what exactly a weapon was going to do. Most of the time, myself and the AI players ended up hurting ourselves worse than we hurt eachother. Repeatedly crashed while trying to enable fullscreen from the main menu, so also that.
This game looks like it took alot of work to make, and despite all of the rough edges I think it's very impressive. Good job!
Yeah...I tried to making the laser pointer show an arc for the weapons that shot bouncing projectiles, but I couldn't figure out the math for it. It was always off-target. Damn 11th grade calculus, always haunting me.
I wanted to avoid putting a big instruction dump for what the weapons did on the main menu or anything like that, but I couldn't quite get it across in-game either is seems. I probably should've put a little info blurb below the weapon icon.
Fullscreen crashes it? Uh oh. Of all the things to bork it, I wasn't expecting the fullscreen button to do the dirty deed.
If no one else mentions the fullscreen crashes it might be my system.
