This is a super fun concept. Once you have to work around the "re-wired" keys I stand no chance, but I like it anyway.

I am so very sorry everyone! It turned out to be a good bit harder near the end than I anticipated. It is possible, but I only had myself for play testing.  Let me know if you are able to beat it.

I like the idea, very original! But difficulty fast got out of hand. And i'm not a good typist to begin with hah

I really like this gameplay loop. I legitimately think it could be pretty great except for one big problem: the scrambling idea is a really solid concept, but I think the way it's implemented makes it crushingly difficult hahaha if I were you, I would experiment with other ways to scramble the letters. As it stands -  forcing the player to pick through every single key on their keyboard for the right key, and then making them memorize that along with potentially 5 other random keys, and then furthermore spreading that over multiple other words pretty much halts the action. I think a really easy fix might be to swap letters but keep it within the words, and then to also display that on the UI. For example, "jump" becomes "ujmp", or "jmup". something like this would still complicate things for the player, while still being readable, and it would be really easy to scale that for difficulty. I think it would also be a good idea to give the player the option to unscramble words somehow - maybe through a skill check or something. Anyway, I only say this because (again) its a great concept, and I legitimately think this has potential with only a super small tweak :) good job!

That was really fun, a little difficult, but maybe it takes more time to get the hang of it.

I'm really surprised and amazed by the mechanic. Probably the best mechanography game I ever played (and I played quite a few!).

Graphics, even simple,  are really efficient and feel like a conscious decision.

Couldn't finish it, as I got stuck with the double red key on the words, but still enjoyed it a lot.

Fantastic job!

Thanks for your kind words! The careful selection of someone else's color scheme helped a lot!

Originally I scrambled ALL the letters. And it was impossible.

I cruelly require the largest word right after two scramblers right at the end!

Sometimes you can get lucky and have most of a word normal near the end too.

Very unique! Stylish and hilarious! Love the voice acting, and the sound effects! All of it together is a really fun package, would definitely love a more expanded version of it!

thanks! I did have to cut a couple of jokes cause they were talking over the actual instructions

Super unique gameplay mechanic! Well done!

Thanks! I wasn't going to join this jam, but I had the idea, and then I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Unique? Yes! Fun? eeh... to be determined. It turns out that very few keys need to be swapped on a keyboard for most people's hands not to function. I wind up trying to keep my fingers on the important keys, so I don't get confused, and it is still like playing twister with your keyboard.
