OK, I finally uploaded a video of my playthrough, it can be found here:

Here is the clip from the stream!

Working on post production, video will be edited into this comment soon. This was a great game. I felt amazing when I figured out what to do. It was a pleasure having you in the stream chat as well.

It was a real pleasure to follow you playing EnantiO : this game seems to have been particularly difficult for many players. Congratulations for getting out of it. Thanks too for giving time and patience to try out all the games on this game jam. And now, I can't wait to start your TigerJ(am) !

This had me scratching my head for quite a while. Short and sweet, but unlikely that I would have figured it out without help. A solid presentation and unique puzzle make this a worthwhile experience.

Developer

Thanks for playing this weird experience. It's always very interesting to see how people understand things, where they can be stuck, and how they finaly find a way to the end. I'm glad you've enjoyed this short game. Thanks again, for the video of your play ^_^

I just can't believe what you did.  Like, the puzzle was fricken cool just so hard to do without having to reference the guide.  Figure out how to help your players get that and you are golden.  Very unique experience, Loved it, be it, crunch it, grapenuts.

Great work!

Lol. Yes, I can imagine this is a puzzle  little  ... weird.

Thanks for playing my "interactive experience"  ^_^

Had to read the "guide" to figure it out. I think the problem is that the puzzle doesn't really make sense (why does the key break upon entering the room - does it mean that keys break when players step into the room?) and the presentation doesn't help (as you appear to be stuck in a loop, giving the impression that the game has glitched out). The effect was pretty neat and meta though. Very atmospheric music, but the window is too small (which I guess is to help with that effect).

Developer

Yes, the key breaks each time the player use it to open a door. So the only way to keep the key intact is to use the door already opened ... The main "puzzle" has got really sense, in contrary, and the concept of Meta Game has got more impact when the player thinks he'splaying a "normal" game that encounters a weird lopping situation (the "meta" concept is not artificial or arbitrary here, but the only way to solve the problem). Obviously a lot of player will not find THE solution (players can read the solution I've written, as you've done   : it's for me a complete part of the game, a kind of real "out of the box"), but some have found how to do by themselves too.

That ending was awesome. Great idea!!

Yeah ! Thank you ! Some people around me told me that nobody could find how to finish this game. I'm happy to see that there were wrong.  Congratulations to you and again thank you for your nice comment ^_^

A super fun game!

Great job Yaz ;-)

Developer(+2)

Thank you ^_^ I'm happy you've enjoyed this little game.

Well done Yaz! Love the graphic style, quite unique.

Developer

Thank you for playing, and for your comment. I'm  glad you've enjoyed the experience. Have you reached the end ? If not, there's the link of the  solution below. And for the graphics, I've tried something I've never done before, working both on pixel and vector, 3D and 2D, in aim to give this weird shapes and colors. ;)

If you need clues/solution in aim to see the end of this experience, just download the pdf file (the blue link) in this devog page.

Twas pretty darn fun !

Great job Yaz !

Thank you ! I'm happy you've enjoyed this "interactive experience".
And congratulations to have reached the end without any help !

The solution was, at least as of now, too obtuse to find. I think it's because I'm unsure of my goal once the "twist" occurs.

Developer (1 edit)

Yes, this part of the game is the only real interactive moment of EnantiO.

When you can't do anything, it's the moment you can really act ^_^

In EnantiO, it is not only the game that goes out of its frame, it is also the player who leaves his role of passive player.

I'll give the solution in the game description when it will be allowed to rate the game for the GameJam , in aim to help everyone to finish this short game (that can be very long and frustrating, if the player doesn't find the solution ^^).

And obvisouly : THANKS for playing EnantiO ! ^_^
