Dreams of Being is an exploration through some scenes from my dream journal. my keeping of a dream journal was inspired by games such as Yume Nikki, LSD: Dream Emulator, and #21: The World, so I guess you could say that the game was too.

OK, I finally uploaded a video of my playthrough, it can be found here:
An amazing game ! Great job !
Fantastic entry! Honestly one of my favorites, and I don't really understand how only 9 people have rated it so far, I think it's the gem of the Game Jam!
It was complete, creative, meta, nice to look at, nice flow, etc., etc., etc. I really liked it all over the place. I've been playing games by this developer for a while now but haven't Lumps Played one yet, and it was an honor to finally do one!
It's a complete playthrough. All symbols and a bonus conversation that only happens after playing the separate game *A Weeks Passing* before this one. If you like the vid, maybe sub! Cheers. 🍻
Bookmarks on the wall are pretty terrifying and I'm glad I didn't have any pictures in my Pictures folder. :P
But overall, pretty neat. Needs inverted mouse option!
I love atmosphere and you provided it. Very well done, thanks for helping me out when I needed it! I would love to see this when it's later in it's development!
Great work!
Thought it reminded me of Yume Nikki. Very atmospheric and quirky, great job on that. The invisible walls seem a little jarring though. Still missing a few pieces and will see if I can complete it!
When I play such games made for any GameJam, I just wonder how someone can possible do such great job in so few time. Congratulations for your project ! I'll do my best to find the missing symbols : as I've read here, there is an autosave. Very useful ! As always, you've made a real game when most of us have made a short experience. Well done !
Really enjoyed this, except I can't find the last symbol! I've only found one in the school and one in the weird house/furniture store place, is there a second in one of those places? Normally I don't like getting hints, but I really want to finish this so I can rate it!
I really enjoyed the TVs and the other cool meta stuff, and I gotta ask, did Myst influence you at all when making this? The beginning is super similar to the beginning of Myst!
Hell yes Myst influenced me! - you'll get more of that later.
I wont give any hints, but I WILL say that there is only one sigil in the furniture store, and there are two in the school.
Ah thanks, guess I'm going back to school!
Well, I finished! Nice game all around, although I'll be honest, the ending left me wanting a bit more, mainly because I thought there was going to be a final world with one more symbol (the center one) after getting the others. I actually quickly replayed the game after beating it thinking there was going to be a secret ending for doing it again! :P Other than that, I really enjoyed it!
Some great landscape here! I particularly liked the forest, bus station, and what seemed to be a school. Choosing dreams as constraint is pretty cool!
I couldn't finish it unfortunately. Some items are pretty well hidden! But I enjoyed the trip anyway.
Thanks for playing! If you want to pick it back up at any time, it auto saves your progress :)
