OK, I finally uploaded a video of my playthrough, it can be found here:
I don't know if I reached the end or missed something on the idea of Iteration, but this was pretty minimal. Looked like a lot of things were planned but scrapped. Fair enough in a game jam, although it would have been nice to see more.
I wasn't keen on clicking buttons above/below objects instead of clicking the objects themselves.
On a positive note, the art and atmosphere was really cool. Loved the visual effects and the computer implementation. :)
Hey mate, thanks a lot for the video! unfortunately you didn't have the experience that I was expecting players to have playing my game, and I'm the one to blame for that. I changed few things and I did an update, and there was a panel on top that says " Press I for instructions", but apparently I removed it without paying attention in the new update, I'm really surprised that you find all the controls by yourself, but I'm sure it was annoying though, so I apologize for that. Plus there's 3 levels in the game, you only completed the first one so yeah you missed few things.
Thanks a lot for the feedback, I really appreciate it :)
I think this was pretty good! I would have liked to see more overall, I know time was a constraint and doing a single person team can be rough! I think it would have been cool (and I was kind of expecting) that iterations effected each other. But hey, it was great for what was here!
Great work!
Thanks a lot mate ! i really appreciate it. I really wanted to do more because there's a lot to add to the concept of iteration but like use said, time constraint pushed me to a corner , because I have a day job and I only worked on the game during night, so I had to do something minimal but functional.
Thanks again!
I played your games a couple of days ago but didn't rate at the time. Doing it now though.
I liked the interaction with the room items as well as the computer but for some reason I could not get past the third iteration. The instructions box was in front of the clock. I'm guessing I might be playing it in the wrong resolution.
Thanks for the feedback mate! I'll fix that resolution problem and I'll upload an update tonight.
I think the controls are a bit too complex in this one, and its not quite clear how you should proceed. Kind of getting a sense of what this game's about, but failing to get past the second iteration. A nice mysterious feel, would have loved to check out those dank memes. (oh and you can get stuck if you carry a bin and climb the chair.)
Thanks a lot for the feedback man :) Appreciate it .
I really like the idea behind the looping iterations and the obliviousness of the main character to it but it felt like it needed to be explored waay more.
Still had fun though and hoping for updates in the future.
Thanks a lot mate !! Glad you enjoyed it :D
I have no idea how to finish cleaning the room. Put trash in bin, cleaned window, tried standing on chair to reach the clock/cobwebs but no luck. Computer doesn't have anything to click besides the two folders. What am I missing?
Really great aesthetic, mind.
Make sure you switch on the light bulb, if you look enough you'll find something to clean there.
Thanks a bunch!
ps : when you're on chair/bed you have to look at something to actually clean it.
