Anything you want to say to players before they play?
I loved working on this game. Unfortunately, this was a one man effort and time ran out. Several of the concepts I was going for were left out of the game. Maybe in the future I'll keep making updates for it.
Controls are simple:
Left and Right arrows to move
Up and down to talk.
Z to Jump
X to attack
A to roar

I was quite impressed by this game - I think it has a lot of potential if you keep working on it! The animations were really solid.

The controls felt a bit clunky/slow at times, especially jump. I would make SPACE = jump and have it more quick/responsive. It was also pretty tricky once I got to the castles, but if you had leveling up or upgrading by using the exp points, then I'm sure this would be resolved.

Nice work!

Wow, I loved being the Rex.  Man, that was freaking cool.  Having the game reset on space... Not so cool, I accidentally reset a couple times, but hey, that happens.  Great work on this, when you get more content, hit me up, I'll check it out!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I'm changing the reseting option to avoid random resets. I'll be posting an update soon!! I'll keep you posted!

Developer

I uploaded an update of the game (removed the space reset button and added a menu for that). Hope you like it!

Fun stuff! Rex's weightiness and moveset really enhanced that feel of a dino rampage. You even have the wiggle of the tail down for the animations and a nice zany soundtrack to go with this. A shame its a little short, but would stomp on more forts!

Developer

Thanks!! I'ts short indeed... didn't have enough time, but I will be uploading an update with more content anytime this week. Thanks for playing!!

Developer

Just released an update with more castles and new enemies!!

This is a pretty fun game! The animations are pretty good and it's clear that you were careful with details like screen shake. A nicely done Godot entry (extra points for that). Also, the fruitless efforts of the little soldiers reminded my of a very old Amiga game called "Walker"... Perhaps you can evolve it into something like that.

PS: I did take the leap of faith
Developer(+1)

Thanks!! Makes me very happy that someone noticed the details!! That game "Walker" has some neat ideas to implement (like the deepness in the level which solves the problem of so many little soldiers on screen). Thanks for taking the leap!

Developer

A little late but updated the game with some of the ideas from the Walker game. Thanks for the suggestion as it feels a lot better with the changes!
