I've been working on a Metroidvania style puzzle game for quite some time now, and I've already got many of the core "engine" components in place.
There's a tile map editor, player jump physics, doors that respond to switches, a moving camera, and more.
For this jam, I would trim it down and swap out the art for new pixel art. Then we would only need to focus on the core unique gameplay, which will depend on the chosen theme.
