Fun design! I really like what you did with the fonts and the fancy-ness of the gold/treasure theme.
I found the hurt state lasted a bit too long which marred the playability of the demo.
However, I think you have something you can really build on here. Cool to see the "mimick" as the hero to the story instead of a hazard for the player :)
Man, those mimics in Dark Souls are awful... But yours, it's pretty good! I like the concept, though there are a few things that need updating. Like the dash, for instance. You can skip most of everything if you dash above the enemies. But all in all, great game, good job!

This has potential! I miss being invulnerable after taking damage. I often got stuck on an enemy and died. There should also be cooldown on dash, because I dashed through the colliders of the tiles and ended up outside of the map. After taking damage, i sometimes got immobilized for many seconds, which felt a little too much. Very, very charming protagonist chest!
