Awesome! ^^ I managed to beat the boss!

I too had to restart a few time because of the wall glitch but its no big deal, the game was beatable. You're animations are great I liked the general design of everything too. Some inconsistencies in the resolution (thinking about the background specifically) but again its not big deal because overall it looked great.

Your dash and double mechanics are great, I would love to have seen some more mechanics and bosses. Really enjoyed playing! :)

Thank you for the praise! There was actually a heavy attack mechanic that got cut out of the game, that was supposed to be used to break fragile blocks (and deal extra damage). Maybe we'll add it back in after the jam rating has ended.

And thank you for playing!

It was generally very nice i like it. Shame that probably the coolest animation is... death animation xD But okay, others looked great too, especially dash. Music was also done very well in this game.

However mainly the wall stuck bugalmost breaks the game, I had to restart it like 5 times. I mean in current state you have to be very careful to not get glitch and its actually really fun to dash through the whole map.

I got to the boss, killed it (the hitbox was very wild i felt, i would've made it much smaller). And then the boss was just standing there, the music ended. I understand that this is the end?

Overall quite nice. The only thing that I would focus on in terms of game is make it more metroidvania, as for now there's only like one backtracking for the diamond after getting dash. Other than that the game is fully linear almost.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The boss sometimes requires you to hit him a second time for his death animation to properly play, and the game to go to the end card.

And I agree that it ended up being more linear than initially planned.

After the jam rating, I'm planning to fix the wall stuck glitches.

But again, thanks for the feedback!

This is pretty decent overall! Could do with slightly faster pacing and some fine-tuning on the platforming. To be a bit nitty-gritty, the dashes required in the foresty area feel a little more punishing than challenging. I also got trapped in a dash-height hallway, a couple of times, but only one seems to have required a restart. I liked the atmosphere of the shop/rest areas although I wasn't sure if I should have been able to talk to the shop keep.

Also the graphics are simply but they, in particular the main character, have a certain niftiness/charm.

Hey! Thank you for playing!

Currently, the shop keep dialogue not appearing is a known bug that for some reason only happens when the game is exported, but I'm working on getting it patched along with hopefully the other bugs people are experiencing!

Good game overall. I wasn't able to finish though. An enemy hit me and pushed me inside a wall and I could no longer move. The dash ability specifically feels pretty solid!

Developer

Hey! Thank you for playing!

Yeah, there are unfortunately still a few more known bugs. Most involving when you get hit.

Even though you weren't able to finish it, I'm glad you enjoyed it ^_^
