This appears to be a demo for a short action-platformer in a vein similar to MegaMan. What's there isn't bad, but what appeared to me to be intentional glitchiness of the first stage is a bit disorienting off the bat, perhaps more than the author intended. It still gets pretty good presentation marks, though beyond having some platforming it feels more like something in-between classic MegaMan and a visual novel in its genre.
Really nice sprite work, and good movement controls.... hope you do something with this, as would love to see this made intosomething more coplete!
I'm a big mega man fan so I can't help but love the graphics and the music. The character plays pretty much just like mega man too so I have no complaints about that. I'm very eager to see where you get with this in the future.
Wow, what is here is pretty polished. The mix of genres is super creative and intriguing. And what a cool way to end it. Keep it up!
You have an awesome base for a game here. The visuals and music were delightful. The controls were tight. And You got a chuckle out of me with that ending. I can't wait to see what you do with this project. I'd like to see how you incorporate the top-down home sections and to see the exolorable space get filled out. Awesome Job!
Hi!
A very nice Megaman-like you have here. As mentioned before, some Metroidvania elements were missing. But other than that, the controls felt really smooth, you had a decent amount of enemies for such a short time period, and the ending was a nice gimmick :)
I guess you will continue working on this?
At the beginning I was intriguied by unusual graphics and pleasant music, but then it surprisingly became kind of unfinished platformer where I stuck.
I wouldn't call it a metroidvania, but this is pretty well-made
