I am in love with the character animations!  I really like the idea of planting trees and that the large tree grows the more you explore, very nice touch.  Controls felt pretty good as well. one critique I have is that there was some pop-in/pop-out of the background art and it was fairly jarring and sometimes the sprites for the planted trees and mushrooms wouldnt appear.  I could still jump on the mushrooms though.  I unfortunately couldnt finish because I got locked in a room behind a gate with no switch to let me out again.  Very cute and entertaining entry!

My god, that charcater looks adorable, I wanna just hug that thing. Her animations simply overflows personality, the charisma here is really uncomparable with any other entry. I also really love how the char's personality also gets visible on gameplay throught the more slippery controls, that really do fits her very well.
The gameplay is also very fun and fluid, I'll once again have to say I'm not the biggest fan of shift and spacebar, but even then I still didn't had any problems with it at all.

My only complaints are really only on level design. It was very easy to get lost here, and I understand you guys wanted to make more discret screen transitions by trying to hide them with the layout, but this actually made those transitions way more glaring and weird feeling lol, that doesn't affect gameplay much tho, it can just look a little ugly sometimes. I also wish there were less blind jumps here, since even with the gliding it still was pretty much trial and error wheter I would fall onto a spike or not.
I do miss some music too, but that's not essential anyway, and the sounds the char does are already pleasant enought to break the silence most times.

I couldn't finish the game tho. I assume I only had a single planting point left since my main tree was already pretty big and blooming leaves, and I actually could see the soil on the very edge of one of the rooms, but I really had absolutely no clue on how to get there. I would take a screenshot to show it, but I actually also lost the place where I could see it after I went back to check on the big tree xD

The game looks great. I adore the animations, they are amazing and feel so fluid. I also really enjoyed the fact that I could plant flowers wherever I wanted. It felt nice, also because it looked like I could add some personal touch to save points. At least I assume the soil in which we planted bigger plants was a save point, as sometimes the player character would respawn there. My biggest gripe is how sudden and jarring the room transitions are. Sometimes I'd respawn at the beginning of the room and then press a button to the left/right and get very confused for a few seconds. All in all a nice entry, it could use some more polish, but it feels good to play already.

pretty cool. first, i want to talk about how good the design of the protagonist looks. all the animations are very beautiful. with that said, i think the game is a little bit monotone sometimes, and it would be interesting to have an ambient sound or a song playing at the background too (i liked the sound design tho). the level design is interesting, i liked the power ups even tho i miss some enemies at the start (even tho i understand it, making enemies for fungi was a nightmare 💀) pretty cool entry!

You've nailed the aesthethics for me, the character is lovely and her animation convey a ton of personality, I love it! I'm not sure what was the purpose of planting, other than occasional jumping mushroom popping up, it seemed to be just for flavor, maybe i didn't get what it was supposed to be. Controls could use some polish, it's a bit too floaty and slippery i think. In the end I got locked in a room to the right, because lever states aren't remembered by the game and the door wouldn't open from the inside. Good entry, best character design I've seen in this jam so far!
