Combining platformer and 2.5D graphics is cool! The music and character models look very cute too. However, the camera is too far away, small objects are not visible (I'm stuck on one of the skulls). The jump is too high, and when I got a double jump, I moved only by jumping. The platforms are very poorly visible. And finally, the game started to lag a little closer to the middle.
Thanks for the feedback, I thought I'd disabled collisions on skulls, might have missed something though, and the jump is definitely a little overboard, didn't have the time to tweak so I just went with what worked
Really cool 2.5D gameplay with music and art. Character animations felt a bit goofy but Im sure thats just the time constraint. Overall was a pretty fun playthrough looking forward to see where this goes. Those jumps and dashes go pretty long distances lol.
Thank you for the feedback, glad you had fun playing, and the goofy player related stuff was 100% time constraints, I massively overplanned for the time being a solo project, and never got time to revisit, definitely looking at revisiting the theme in future though since I had a blast working on a new genre
A refreshing 2.5D entry, which stands out in the jam. The environment and lighting were executed impressively. While the character controls felt a bit arcade-like for such a setting, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment. I had a blast playing your game. Well done!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game, the controls definitely suffered from me wanting to achieve too much, but it's all part of the learning process 😊
Love the music in this! It gets me right in the adventure mood. Would love to see more smoother and reactive controls.
Thank you, i felt it really fit the theme, I'll definitely be fixing up the controls for future games, didn't get the time i'd have liked to polish timings for when things can be done
