There is still work to do, but I really liked how the green mana was just "occupying" your mana bar, and how it was decreasing. The game has a good speed. I really liked the overall concept. Good job!

I really liked the green mana system, it was cool how it built up your powers, but drained over time, made me think quickly in what would otherwise be a slow mage fight. Also, good job fitting in a boss, as well as all of the powers and enemies, all very well done for the jam period. In one room though, I entered and the game dropped to a handful of frames per second. Not sure why, but it was only that room, after the boss and a bit before the end.

Thanks! The intent of the excess/green mana system was to encourage more aggressive play when it might be much easier to play hyper defensively, so I'm glad it worked as intended.

If you defeated the boss before dropping frames, there was a serious bug that I fixed for loading save files with a dead boss on the last day of the jam, and it might be related to that. Thanks for letting us know, I'll have to hunt it down.
