I really enjoyed playing through this one multiple times trying to optimize my spending to earn more each play through. You really did a great job balancing the game to where enemies could overtake you if you weren't being efficient while still allowing for some comebacks from killing weaker enemies.
I do not know where the 120 seconds are but otherwise, a very juicy, very pretty game. Was the enemy with the mask unbeatable? just curious. A nice addition could be to add a way to destroy previously placed towers or to upgrade them some how. This could also really use something that counts how manny rounds you have played. Its a really fun game.
hey! Thanks for playing :) not unbeatable, but certainly difficult to defeat, tho I did it a few times during play testing. 120 seconds made us think of BPM which led us to focusing on the heart and the heart beat effect present in a lot of the UI, though perhaps it's a bit of a reach :')
Nice game, had a lot of fun. Good job on making the game this polished. I would suggest adding a score or time counter to let the player see how they did.
Really good fun! GREAT juiciness, nice controls, nice difficulty curve. The theme and the art are great, although not sure where "120 seconds" comes in. Overall one of the most fun and polished games in the jam!
hey! Thanks for playing :) it may have been too loose, but 120 seconds made us think of BPM which led us to the choice of a heart. But yes, perhaps a bit too far of a leap :)
Really fun game, the art was super cute too
thanks! The art was done by my partner and was her first time working on a game. We had a lot of fun
