i was confused  at firs but very nice game !

Few "bad" things:
Are layers intentional?
Gets a bit boring and simple later on, maybe add more patterns, or increase the speed?
Friends are hard to get :c But ig it is like in rl-

Simple and effective gameplay loop perfectly following the "one mechanic" prerequisite. Well done

Could add more enemies or props in the level to show some variety on the props and make the game more challenging, also would be better if add some interaction sound effects when interact with the cat friends, but overall it is a simple and good game for me :D
