I liked the fact that the game starts slow but gets faster fast. The variation in the obstacles and enemy types is good and really appreciated for this kind of game. One MAJOR issue is that the game lags when the gun gets too powerful, either fast or lots of bullets, object pooling should have been implemented. The controls have redundancy (shoot with "space/LMB/w") which is not the greatest for the given prerequisite. If not for those issues the game's graphics are really good, the sound isn't annoying but gets you focus instead, moving the spaceship feels smooth and the gameplay is fun. I would love to have a leaderboard here. Really good game. Well done!

Edit: I just saw you edited the game outside the 46 hours time period. It's against the rules. It's not my job to make people respect the rules and if you really changed a line of code I think it's fine but just watch out.

Thank you for your feedback, I highly appreciate it!

Object pooling was in my plans but that was my first time doing this kind of object intense game and I just didn't know how to. BUT! I am going to rewrite some stuff here and hopefully optimize game for the better.

About controls I tought in a way as "3 main actions to control in the game" but to make it a little bit easier for people who may have different preferences I made so that you can use each of the actions with multiple buttons ( I know about keybinding but it was more of a cheap and fast feature to implement )

Also I apologize about editing game files, I thought if it was possible to edit files it was okay to make minor changes to the game. I will add original game's file as an option to download.

Thanks for playing :)

Really enjoyed the game! The mechanics are smooth, and the small details like the slow-down during the pause menu add a nice touch. I did notice that the waves don’t reset on death, which makes things tougher after respawning—especially without power-ups. Fixing that would definitely make the experience even better. Overall, amazing work! Keep it up!

Yea I just forgot to add one small line of code to reset waves lol
Thanks for playing :)

Really fun game! The waves do not reset on death so every time I respawned it got harder and I lost my powerups. Still really good job though!

Oops I somehow missed that, going to fix it now.

Thanks for playing :)
