Unfurtunately PIP is not installing correctly and I'm not able to play the game :/

Shame on my python skills.

Thank you very much  for playing. The walking speed is an issue for this game but since it's horror it has to be slow. I came to the conclusion that the map should have been smaller since wandering around is really boring. Thanks for the feedback, it's really appreciated, have a great night/day!

PS: I left a comment on your game, really well done!

Somebody should tell that poor little Duck that his record got DESTROYED!

Poor Duck

Really fun game. The only issue I saw is that the enemy don't have a spawn animation so you need to avoid them before you even see them spawning. You have two options: you keep moving or you keep moving. Great and fun interpretation of the prerequisite. I really enjoyed this one! Great job.

Itch says this was done 88 days ago.

Maple tarts are now mine! Haha, I did like the game at exception of a few things. You cannot throw a single snowball but you are forced in the minigun mode apparently and shooting does literally sound like a minigun (LOL). Every time you interact with someone they give you ammo. I spammed a bit and I had 100k carrots. The variety in the gameplay is little but there's some so that's a plus. The Skybox doesn't really match with the Retro genre which the rest of the game was following. Next time you should reduce the resolution of each skybox side to 64/128/256px. The game was fun to play though. I liked shooting snowballs like you would on a minigun. Well done!

Thank you very much  for playing. Yes the walk speed is a problem, but as you mentioned, it would have been hard to interact with objects if it was faster. A great compromise should be found though. Have a great night/day!

Graphics look cool and the game feels ok to play. The MAJOR issue that's avoiding me from saying it feels GOOD to play is that the beat sometimes is missed even though it said "Perfect". It's just like if I did hit the dummy correctly but the game didn't despawn it. Finally the game is run neither with V-sync or a frame cap so I had to manually cap the frames with MSI Riva to save my GPU from burning. The game is also definitely not Retro. If not for those issues the game is pretty polished and quite fun to play for being made in just 48 hours. Well done!

PS: I did get to 65400 points.

The colors used don't fit togheter at all but luckely it fits perfectly in the Retro theme (i don't know if it was intentional though once the color triangle was futuristic science). The sound effects are not really appealing but at the same time are not annoying so it's fine. There is an issue where if you jump on small items, like the green exagon, you can press "e" or "x" to jump even where there is no platform (in the water) without dying. I didn't really like the controls but I think it's part of the requirement to have impossible controls at this point. In the final level I was surprised to see I had to attempt few quizzes in order to win. I have really little culture but I reverse engineered the answers easily (I am smart) and ended up winning. Overall great game for being made in just 46 hours. Well done!

Thank you very much  for playing. I've tried my best to make the game look as PSX style as possible. Have a great night/day!

I liked the fact that the game starts slow but gets faster fast. The variation in the obstacles and enemy types is good and really appreciated for this kind of game. One MAJOR issue is that the game lags when the gun gets too powerful, either fast or lots of bullets, object pooling should have been implemented. The controls have redundancy (shoot with "space/LMB/w") which is not the greatest for the given prerequisite. If not for those issues the game's graphics are really good, the sound isn't annoying but gets you focus instead, moving the spaceship feels smooth and the gameplay is fun. I would love to have a leaderboard here. Really good game. Well done!

Edit: I just saw you edited the game outside the 46 hours time period. It's against the rules. It's not my job to make people respect the rules and if you really changed a line of code I think it's fine but just watch out.

Thanks for the reply. I could tell you developed on laptop because the game window is much smaller on my monitor. I was able to guess you didn't have time for sounds and making more levels because of the complexity involved in the core mechanic of the game so that's not going to punish you. Though I don't like the design decision of  "partially hiding the buttons" because it removes a bit of immersion I believe. Anyway it's still a really good game. I wish you a great road to number 1!

Edit: I am pretty dumb. I just noticed I can zoom in just like on a regular WebPage and the game is now zoomed. Shame on me. Have a great day/night.

Thank you very much  for playing. It's really hard to read your message with all your parentheses but you're a Duck typing so that's already pretty good for, just as I said, being a Duck. Thinking back about my developement pattern I actually think you are right and the killer might get stuck on trees. Huge L for me. The controls are bad because of the limitation but since the killer gets stuck on trees I suppose it's fair enough for both sides. Hahahha, have a great night/day!

I played the game 3 times, not only because it's short and fun, because I wanted to find any problem with the game. The only major issue that you could point out is that the GameDuck Console is really small or at least it's small on my 1080p monitor (i don't know if you used a laptop for developement) and it's cut so I can't see completely the 4 navigational buttons and the big red one < ^ >   o (quite sad because it seems like you put a lot of effort on that). One minor issue is the lack of sound when jumping or squeezing and basically when doing primary interactions, I'm not going to lie, the game is so polished I didn't even notice the first 3 times. Other than that, the game feels great, responds to controls great, has great graphics. The concept for the theme is unique and really fun so that's gonna be the highest grade of that field on my set of reviews. Really well done! Solid 5/5.

I liked the start animation of the game which made me laugh too. Really cool graphics and the choice of making the game render inside a Computer screen with Panini Projection looks immersive and great. I liked the variety of color and enviroment along the levels. I liked also the effort in creating different type of obstacles instead of relying over and over just on jumping. The character did a bit of bad contrast compared to the background. It seems like 2 different art styles are used one for the character and one for the enviroment but I suppose that's a desired effect because the Player is dragged inside the Computer. I didn't quite like the animations of the Player that looks like are done really fast but I suppose that's where the time limit kicked in. I didn't like the Camera following the Player with really low smoothness, almost like if it was snapping every step I was doing, you should wait for the Player to move a bit before moving the Camera to catch up next time. If not for those 2 details, the game looks really cool, very well done!

One last detail. I don't belive the game it's retro but it's just stylized.

Noooooo, poor aliens. Thanks for the sacrifice kings :'(

Alright, speaking seriusly, the graphics are cool and I liked the fact that you can change the main color of the game. I like the style and all so really nothing to say about that. I liked the dialogues and the story so very well done there too. When it comes down to gameplay though things start to get messy. I have just 1 gun the whole game making always the exact same sound (it gets faster but that's not enough) at least randomize the pitch, make me reload, really do anything to break the routine of holding space. There are just 3 asteroid types, behaving all the same way, so variation is close to 0. I really liked the way they moved and that they could hit each other though. If not for those issues the game is pretty fun to play and really well polished. Great job!

Thank you very much  for playing. I did really aim to make the graphics feel like a PSX game. I can't wait to play your game as soon as I'm home. Have a great night/day!

Thank you very much  for playing. Haha, that wouldn't be very cool from a friendly Butcher. As they say "Butch or get Butched". I can't wait to play your game as soon as I'm home. Have a great night/day!

I was giving 5 stars of "use of theme" to every game I was playing. Now I've got to change it all, shame on you! Haha, anyway really good graphics style for the theme. I didn't quite like the lack of variation since there are only 3 plane types but overall enjoyable gameplay. Adding asteroids/satellites, going faster than planes, that you need to avoid at the same time could be a great variety addiction. Really polished game, well done!

UH, I was at 74 coins and the killer got me trapped in a no-escape corridor. I can't lie but I was getting bored once I collected the 30th coin. It could have ended before 100 or had some more variety. I am jumping like in a platformer but there are no traps or anything different from the same floor and walls over and over. The only bit of variety I saw is the portals which I really liked. Variety is really missing and, in a game like this, it's key. Kinda broke the 3 buttons prerequisite by adding "jump" with both "W" and "space" but I'll close an eye on that and pretend I didn't see. Final thing, add some pitch variation to the main sound effects (e.g. jumping) because it's frustrating to hear the same audio again and again. I just saw, while writing this, it's your first Game Jam so I must admit you've got a lot done.  I'm sorry if I am brutally honest but I believe more in constructive feedback than in just "Great game, keep going". Overall the game is pretty good. Graphics are ok for the theme and the controls are great. My first Game Jam was a complete mess if we talk about time management  so I can understand what happened. I wish you the best, have a great day/night!

The sound effect when hitting the mosquitos should really be modified. I killed 5 mosquitos in a palm shot and my cat jumped from the noise. Consider lowering the volume of multiple audios playing or it may be even better lowering the pitch/changing completely the audio. The menu did scare me a bit but the game actually has great graphics. I wasn't able to read the full story because it's disappearing too fast. Consider adding a button for going to the next dialogue. A bit silly that you can't restart when dead. At least you can say that you are so bad at videogames that you get killed by mosquitos (not me. I survived). Pretty good game overall for being made in just 46 hours (probably less).

I have just a word in my mind for this: INCREDIBLE! Crazy presentation and graphics. The start animation in the menu was sick! The gameplay was fun and enjoyable (not common in game with good presentation). The enemies are a bit overpowered since they wait for me to jump to shoot but that's also a lot of fun. The final boss was crazy, with 3 stages, how did you manage to get this done in just 2 days? Incredible. 5/5

Only minus that got into my mind now is that the game is not retro and in fact it's just stylized. Apart from that 5/5.

I think the game was stuttering a lot for some reason. It could be the web build I'm not quite sure. Also you have close to 0 time for reacting to obstacles. You literally just slide left and right and hope you won't hit that car/skittle/hole/rock. If not for these issues the game is pretty good looking. I ran from that damn cops for 9503 miles.

Really polished game. Nice sound effects, graphics, and concept. The concept has been seen 10000000 times but the fact that you can move with trusters really added that spice it needed. I did 2000 points my first run and I discovered that the multishot gun is trash. Then with 28400 points I can confidently say I beat 99.9% of the player base.

Really can't give you much to work on. Maybe just add more enemies and guns but it's a really solid game already. I also liked that panini projection Post Processing effect a lot!

Thank you very much  for playing. Have a great night/day!

Thank you very much  for playing. I believe that the controls, designed just like if I was smashing the keyboard with my a**, made the experience even spookier. I can't wait to play your game tomorrow. Have a great night/day!

You can put the game in full-screen mode by clicking the BLUE button at the bottom-right corner of the game window. Let me know if you occur into any issues. Good luck!

My point is that the ghost moving slow makes sense, but since there are no obstacles when not separated from the ghost, the player moving slow doesn't make any sense. I was suggesting to add fall damage, but that could not be the greatest idea, I think that just a collider that bounds you to use the stairs instead of flying is enough.

Ah, unfurtunatly I wasn't able to join you guys at that time. Incredible that you were able to create a multiplayer game in just 96 hours though!

Bro, what?

You are my savior.

Really pretty enviroment, graphics and style of the game. I didn't like the fact that the lever was hidden and not really distinguishable from the torches since, at a certain point, your brain will considers all of the stuff on the external walls as background noise. I did really like the character speaking when reaching certain parts since it creates a good atmosphere. The end was literally a reference to the day after the 4 days worked on the GameJam. FINALLY WE CAN SEE THE OUTSIDE WORLD! I didn't see anyone talk about it but the fact that the player, when going into collisions, stutters is pretty annoying. Anyway good job, really polished game.

The game's atmosphere is really nice. At first I wasn't liking the camera at all, I was really hating it, but then I started liking the cinematic effect it was giving. Really well done. The troll said by the tablet of switching dimension could have been avoided, hahahhahah, shame on you. I wasn't able to finish the game due to a bug that was not letting me respawn once I fell. I've really liked the tablet overall. I haven't liked the commands not being told but I reversed ingeenered them. Great game.

Thank you very much for playing and reviewing the game. I'm happy that seeing me dying inside on the discord has brought you here.

I did really like the graphics, a lot less the speed of the character and I don't understand why it was necessary to make it move that slow. Though I must admit that the game made me anxious because of the ghosts trying to get into your body when your soul leaves you. The fact that there's no fall damage ruins a bit the atmosphere but it's also good for speedrun. I understand that you made a lot of work to make this work in this little time but add a screen with "You escaped" or something when exiting the house. Overall great game though, the core mechanic is solid.

PS: I was able to get the key near the knife without going the other side of the house. I have huge timing skills I'll guess.

Thanks!

Thank you very much for playing and reviewing the game. I had to rush it quite a lot and I think you can tell, hahhaha. Anyway I wanted the transition effect to be non-blocking, smooth, fast and satistfying. I'm happy to hear I achieved that.

Thank you very much for playing and reviewing the game. Cant wait to try yours!

Thank you very much for playing and reviewing the game. I'm gonna try your very soon!

Thank you very much for playing and reviewing the game. Its my first time uploading a WebGL game. Maybe I've messed something up but there's a blue button that makes you go full screen on the bottom right of the WebGameFrame. If you dont go full screen, input issues can occur, you have to click on the frame in order to send back the input to the game.
