Hello, I am a student at Gettysburg College and my research group thinks this game would work very well for a project of ours. Is it alright if we use your game, and if so how would you like to be credited in the paper? You can reach me at dorsaa01@gettysburg.edu
Thank you!
The limited field of view is a cool idea, makes this much more about having fast reactions and quickly adapting to new situations than it would have been otherwise. Ties in really well with the chaos meter forcing you to keep moving constantly!
I'd agree with Moracan that either slowing down or tying the colour changes to player actions would be great, but definitely keep them in some form - it adds visual interest.
I loved the style, it reminds me to spectrum games :) I don’t know what pygame allows to do (there are things apparently), but it would be nice to have a web version of it so more people would try it I guess.
Thanks. there's people working on a pygame to JavaScript converter. It just not there yet.
I like the minimalistic presentation and sound effects, and the game is fun! Though I'm not really a fan of the blinking colors everywhere. It makes me dizzy!
thanks, yeah i should of slowed down the color changes. i might continue this project cause i kinda like it but if i do ill take out the blinking colors.
I'm not saying the blinking colors are bad, they're an interesting effect, but they change too fast. Maybe you could make it so they change everytime the player shoots/jumps
