Bahbahbahbah I got the true ending ^^ Awesome, the gameplay is simple and dynamic :)
Enjoyment 4/5 - A strange category for me since I'll be honest and say I was livid playing this game but I still found it enjoyable after the fact?? Some areas definitely need some tweaking to not be totally unfair (Mostly Mushroom Peak that has this issue) but other wise, it's one of those infuriating but fair games... Or maybe I'm a masochist.
Concept 5/5 - I love Arson so much. The concept of using only your tongue to get through environments is a very fun one and the explanation you have for it is hilarious. Love every bit of it.
Presentation 3.5/5 - While I do really love some of the environments and I adore the cutscenes, it is held back by some style clash in areas. It's nothing too extreme but it makes the game a whole lot less cohesive and nice looking.
Use of Limitation 4/5 - Although it made me furious to find out, I have to give you props for adding to the rage game feel with possibly struggling through the whole time only to find out you need to do it again. It's a fun incentive to replay.
Overall, a well made game even if I blew a fuse playing it. Well done!
I like it! It was fun to play and get good swings!
Glad you enjoyed! :)
pretty hard , but fun !
i kinda got stuck here :
We sorta found in most instances where you get stuck, you can spam click around you and usually get free. That usually works here but sometimes you gotta risk losing your progress to get unstuck. Thanks for playing!
this was kind of giving me "getting over it" vibes, thats the only way that i can describe, your game is neat and has very good puzzles, but its pretty hard and i personally struggle, though that might not be the case for some people, so im gonna see this from other perspectives like im an eagle.
we actually realized as we were play testing that it was very "getting over it" - glad you liked it! I'm horrible at this game myself, so I definitely get how you feel lol
i may be a scrub but i couldn't even get past the first obstacle!
Really neat game, well thought out puzzles, tounge mechanics could maybe use some work, I found some of the positionings quite difficult but that may just be me. Some subtle way of highling objects that can be grappled to could be a shout. Really great stuff and I'm sorry I couldn't get Arson his prosthetics :'(.
The highlighting is a great idea! And yeah, I totally agree -- some of the positions need fine-tuning as they are a bit too challenging. Thanks for playing :)
This game was cool! It was quite frustrating due to the tongue unattaching and sometimes the physics felt a little wonky. This game had a really neat idea and cute little story!
Thank you for the feedback!!! :D
took me a little bit over 7min :(. Thx for the easy mode and give me the over it wipes.
Glad you liked it! :)
I don't know if this is intended, but every time Arson hit the wall, he unattaches his tongue from the walls. This fact alone makes this game a little too frustrating to control.
Can't really blame Arson though he has no legs and it probably hurts to bang against the wall.
I almost gave up, but i didn't want to disappoint Arson so i made it to the end, and seeing his smile made me satisfied.
Also totally did not discovered easy mode right after complaining it being frustrating
It was intentional, although after getting some feedback it may have been better to have it stay on :) Glad you enjoyed!
