Local mutiplayer?! In this day and age?! Awesome.

Resolution was a little rough to work with, and the animations felt a little janky. Punching and stuff it wasn't really easy to get a rhythm.

Viduals were cool, I loved the design of the robots. Music was interesting too! Not really my cup of tea but it wasn't ear-shattering and helped with the pace of the gameplay.

Solid piece, seriously!

The concept is cool, the visuals are also very cute and the game is well made. Local multiplayer is a really cool implementation. I would appreciate a fullscreen mode or resolution option as on my monitor I couldn't see a bit of the bottom of the screen as the game has a vertical resolution. It was relaxing and interesting, great job!

Hey, thanks for the review and the suggestion! Yeah I was having some issues placing the game on the screen when launching it, so there's a couple pixels missing at the bottom, a fullscreen fix might do it. Glad you enjoyed it!

I didn't expect an idea like this :D Really creative and interesting.

The game itself is relaxing, I like that it's not too fast and not too slow.

Developer

Hey thanks! I'm glad you think of it as relaxing :)

The atomsphere and the idea is unique, that local multiplayer thingy is also pretty cool. The only thing I think could be better is that the flow of the game could acclerate a bit to build some tension.

Thank you for your review!

The pace does actually increase, to 1.5x base speed at 33% energy and 2x base speed at 66%, it's just a very imperceptible increase since the base is already not that fast lol. So the infrastructure is there, I just need to tweak the variables.

Good to know! Overall I think this is a nicely crafted game, well done!

Pretty cool sounds and theme, excellent presentation and idea. Also i like that it has a multiplayer option.

Just feel like it needs to go a bit faster, but good job overall!

Developer

Thank you for your review! I'll take upping the speed under consideration

I really like the atmosphere and the cute robot animations which were really well done!! The concept is also pretty cool!

Though I think I might've run into a bug where the game doesn't end once the energy depletes. I was able to infinitely respawn even though I had no energy left.

Thanks for the review!

It's not actually a bug, by design the fail/win states only activate between generating segments of the stage, so there's a bit of a buffer between reaching 0 or 100 energy, and then the game over/victory condition triggering. Makes it so if a player gets to 0 they can scramble to claw their way back up before the invisible timer runs out, or to maintain themselves over 100 for a little bit, rather than ending as soon as they reach it.

Of course that can all be changed but at the moment we thought this would work best, haha

Very clever, love the idea!

Thank you! We had fun making it!
